'10 NC DE Prince Shembo

F Notre Dame. Never liked their football team. Always despised them. I can't be a good sport about any recruiting battle that is lost with them. Hope he enjoys Cheeseburger Charlie ruining a chance at actually being coached up to NFL potential.

Dad?

lol, not the melt down you were expecting?

the school in south bend got a good one.

Haha, no, definitely not. He made me feel a lot better with the following comment:

He’ll be trekking back to Notre Dame on an official visit for the USC game on October 17. He’s fully aware that he has five officials available, but he only plans on using one.

“I’m only taking one to Notre Dame,” he said of the strength of his commitment. “I’m staying solid. It’s like a marriage. I’m fully committed to them. Decommitting says a lot about someone’s character, and I’m a man of my word.”

So sad, so wrong, but this is a UT board, so have at it. Besides what true blooded American doesn't enjoy a good cheeseburger (or twelve) every now and then?

It's not your fault.

Haha.. just sounded exactly like something my dad would say when he speaks about.. ND.. USC.. Florida.. Bama.. well.. Everyone except Maybe Vandy and MTSU

Sounds like he's going to officially visit for the UCLA game. Not a surprise really. I'm back and forth on this guy. I think his future is as a Linebacker but he looks like a classic tweener to me.

must be nice to be aweful for the better part of a decade and consistantly be man handled by their "rival" usc yet still be able to pull top 5 recruiting classes every year. must be nice. why would big time recruits want to come to ND when wise has been getting studs since hes been there but obviously has not been able to develop them?

Wow you really sound jealous of ND

What exactly would there be to be jealous of? ND was a great program......back when Lou was there. They wont win another NC, or come close for that matter, as long as Weis is the coach there.

why are you asking me, it's his post it was just the way he worded it.

sounds jealous to me or maybe envious is a better word?

Why would anyone be jealous of Notre Dame. They would be a middle of the pack team in the SEC in one of their good years.

Notre Dame is one of those teams that just make me wonder every year how they could be even remotely popular?

It just baffles me?

Dude, Notre Dame WAS football back in the day. A lot of it is regional and a lot of it is generational. I hate Charlie Weis, personally, but I've never really cared for Notre Dame. Truth be told, the only team I ever really disliked prior to last year was Miami. However, after tailgating in Knoxville last year and going to the Bama game, I have quite the disdain for Bama fans. How can you listen to Dixie Land Delight and Sweet Home Alabama on a loop for 4 hours straight? I mean dear GOD...

Still doesn't explain why people give a crap now?
I think people who don't know much about college football automatically call themselves Florida, USC or Notre Dame fans... Just to say it.. Notre Dame is popular for Rudy.. Has to be the reason.. =)
