coaches from schools will still want to have him visit and watch his film to get a grasp of him long term instead of two series of a game...He def looked better than the rest of the QBs but we are set at QB this yr.
C'mon guys...do you honestly think this is the first time our coaches have heard of this kid. If he wasn't good enough 6 months ago, he isn't good enough now. Top rated players don't just show up out of nowhere at an All Star game and turn into All Americans. I think you guys need to accept this for what it is...kid got an opportunity and played really well in that "ONE GAME".
Some kids slip through the cracks. I think he is out of a small school (or played crappy competion),which would be onereason he isn't getting any attention.
He may not pan out,but he's the type of kid I would take a chance on.He has a rocket for an arm,big frame, and tall.
"I would welcome interest from any D-I schools, but I am really happy with Dartmouth," Marcoux responded. "The Ivy League would be a great spot for me to be successful. But if any other schools come along and they want to recruit me, I would give them my attention, definitely."
Did anybody else notice the kid at the end of the Army game named Cole Marcoux?
He apparently won some reality show and was invited to play in the game. Currently committed to Dartmouth, but after seeing that arm strength, he's gotta be getting some love.
Anybody know anything? We aren't looking, I guess, now that we offered Nash Bridges to get Da'Rick Rogers...
What a strange story. I saw him throw that one TD pass late in the game, and was amazed to hear that he was going to Dartmouth. I'd imagine that will change very soon. He's probably getting offers today.
That guy looked great! I was regretting Sims as soon as Marcoux threw that cross-field, back foot TD pass. He only slipped thru the cracks bc he plays up north in baseball country.
