'10 OL T.J. Leifheit

James is a Vol. Everyone is overreacting. Unless he is absolutely disgusted with his visit to Neyland in a couple of weeks, he is a Vol...

I'm not sure that we don't lead for Leifheit at this point...

Yep. We lead. It would take something really big on UGA's part to pull him.

hes stating his opinion. thats what this kind of thing is about.

maybe so, but unless you have some sort of inside info, how do you list percentages like 60/40 and 70/30? doesn't make any sense to me ....

edit: especially when all im hearing about these 2 guys is that they are coming to Knoxville.

Why all the certainty?

I really believe he is a silent. He is the only player who I have honestly thought was a silent. I think the only reason he decommitted was because of the playing time opportunity at UT. He decommitted for UT, and now UGA is trying to get in it with him imo...

an estimate or a guess? haha hell i dont know. its like predicting a score to a game. No one knows exactly what the score will be. Some people's opinions are more valued than others, but that doesn't stop the people whos opinions are less valued from making their own predictions.

Why all the certainty?

Too many people saying that he decommitted from Alabama to come here and others saying we lead for his services. Where there is this much smoke, there is usually fire. I think he is giving Georgia another look because they are the home school and it will help with some of the perception of decommitting from Alabama and immediately committing to Tennessee.

I do know for a fact that there are several OL prospects the coaches feel really good about.

Leifheit’s trip was significant because he took an official visit to UT on Sept. 12 to watch UT play UCLA.

Leifheit, who flew from Charlotte to Knoxville with his father on Saturday, said his official visit to UT influenced him to return.

“It was just the next game and I wanted to get back as soon as I could,” he said. “It was awesome. I had an outstanding time.”

UT is an intriguing school to Leifheit because of the opportunity for early playing time.

Leifheit plans to enroll in college in January and knows the Vols need immediate help on the offensive line.

“That’s a pretty big factor,” he said. “It’s going to play a role in it.

Again, if making multiple trips to a school means a commitment on the horizon, then mark Jawuan James off our list.

The good news is, T.J. is taking these visits a month before he wants to make his decision.

The bad news is his last visit is to UNC, which is said to be his silent leader.

JaWuan James already knows where he will be going.
