They let Pryor get away because of the opportunity that was presented to them They came up late and he was solid to OSU and only have UM a thought. As well Jeanette where he came from honestly is so far west, it was almost closer to OSU.

Jacques Smith is relentless, very active. And that's in his recruiting for Tennessee. He isn't giving up on Floyd and is rooming with him this week. Obviously UT faces a steep uphill battle there, but it's been a while since any one player has tried to represent this hard for Tennessee at an event. Very impressive.

last time I remember having someone recruiting that hard as a prospect at those games was when Crompton and Morely was in everyones ear that year and they made some waves so I wouldn't be shocked that Smith does the same because he seems very personable and that it would be hard not to get along with him

yep. Floyd's not going to be a Vol. If he's determined to play as a true freshman then he'll go to Ohio State otherwise he'll follow his friend Ronald Powell to Florida. I guess we'll find out when he announces during the Army game on Saturday.

Interesting comment from Floyd about Easley. Also does not look like UF is in the driver's seat.

"Floyd came out and said it was OSU, Florida and UNC in that order and when I asked him if Easley's decision impacts him at all with Florida, he said Easley wasn't going to Florida. Who knows if he has inside info."

probably doesn't affect Floyd's decision one way or the other as there's still plenty of opportunity for playing time as a true freshman at Ohio State for a player of his caliber but they did just accept the commitment of massive nose tackle Johnathon Hankins.

Easley said he doesn't know Floyd so he didn't know why he said that.

only if you believe Easley's commitment to be some orchestrated attempt at revenge for not accepting him back at FNL.

Could be he's giving the FU to UF. :eek:lol:

Will stand the test of time - must be a school with long, rich history and tradition. I guess that eliminates Florida.

I am hearing Floyd to UF from all the people at the Army game. Also Hankins just switched his commitment to OSU.
