'10 PREP OL Morgan Moses

Saw Big mo The other night at a HS game and he looked good. Looked as though he lost some weight. Maybe he has seen the light! I asked him about UT and he said he was seriously thinkin about them.

Thanks that is good info.

Wonder if the person who said he is 5th or 6th on the board wants to share the board.

I can only see Chaz Green, Cullen and Shon Coleman for sure above him unless the board includes Hurst etc.

I would say that we're still going after Hurst. As for Morgan Moses, I'm not sure that very many people know what's going on with him.

Did you hear this from the same source that said James would go to UGA?

haha, No sources on J. James. That was pure gut call on that one and I just missed. I'll admit when I'm wrong and if he signs with us.... I was wrong.

As for Morgan Moses, yes, I've actually been told that if the UVA staff changes (especially head coach and his position coach) then he would change schools with NC State, UT, Virginia Tech, and West Virginia as possible destinations. I'm just not sure where he sits on our OL board. I would think he'd be top 3 available as it stands now if he were to decommit.

Chaz Green and D. Robinson may be the only linemen ahead of him with Cullen right in there somewhere.

I've said, though, if we pull Green and Cullen as expected, we won't take more than 1 more OL. I think we shut it down for players like Luc, Dixon, and Elam's of the world.

I thought they turned down Leifheit?

No, we wouldn't turn down a stud OL as thin as we are at that position. We simply didn't show as much attention to him as we have some other big time OL recruits (Green, James, etc).

He was destined to go to UNC (home school, friends from high school play there, etc) so I think that played a big hand in how much time we spent on him.

I'm pretty positive we turned him down...

Well I'm pretty positive we didn't... he was offered a scholly... he never tried to verbal. Where in that does it show we turned him down?

Again, we may have "slow played" him but we didn't turn him down.

The staff didn't like his senior film and turned down his commitment. Hubbs and others have said this.

I heard it was the same as the James Stone situation. Not overly impressive in camps but offer still on the table. I hadn't heard anything about senior film.

Do you have Hubbs column on that?

We are still on Hurst. It will be about imposible to pull him though. We are interested in Moses. The staff went to evaluate him on the bye week...

Yes, they turned him down...

Hurst would be an amazing coup, I just don't see it happening.

I am surprised Morgan Moses is still in the hunt.
