'10 SC DE Corey Miller

i left at halftime. i think miller & woodland's hc are friends & thats why this game happened. we beat teams like this quite often tho. no team in the state has played at the consistent level of byrnes for the past 10 years. dorman & gaffney have been decent at times dont know where u got rock hill from.

Rock Hill is a good team. They are consistently a threat to win 4A Region 4. We never hear about them because they never play any of the upstate teams.

Me too....its horrible.

Someone was nice enough to drop the hint that the night class version was about 10x better. Better teacher, less people, easier class! At least, that is how it was 5-6 years ago...:)

Chem and Physics were not my favorite 2 classes on the hill.

Just to back up my claim that Rock Hill is a good team Super 25: Top five unchanged as two newcomers join the fray - USATODAY.com

They are now ranked as the 25th best team in the country. I'm not saying they could beat Byrnes. Just like last season when Dorman jumped on Byrnes in the first qtr, because of Rebel mistakes, and held on to win Rock Hill could have the same luck and beat the Rebels.

just wanted to bump this so that we can all appreciate the nastiness that this young man showed on the field tonight...if he is not a five star then i have no faith in the rankings.

I agree with the announcer that said he reminds him of the "original" Freak.....Jevon Kearse. I cant wait to see these kids coming to The Hill in our 2010 class in Big Orange!!

“I loved every minute of my trip,” Miller told InsideTennessee. “It has become my second home. I love everything about Knoxville and the University of Tennessee.”

“I loved the game,” Miller said. “UT is booming right now. It’s just the beginning of good things to come with this football program. Vol fans need to get ready. We are going to win a lot of games, a lot of championships including national titles.”

“That’s easy,” Miller said. “I’m 100 percent a Volunteer. Brandon and I are coming to UT in January. We will have the entire spring to get acclimated to college football at Tennessee.”

“We plan on making the Memphis game,” Miller said. “We want to get back up there and do a little more recruiting. This is going to be a great class.”

Per Scout... Love this guy...

I can't say enough about Corey Miller. The kid is the absolute most explosive pass rushing prospect I've seen in the last few years.

when he says "do more rectuiting" does he mean they want to come back and talk to the recruits who are coming in for visits and be like "hey let's come here and rock the world!"? Or does he mean like they wanna come back to just visit again?

Either one I'm cool with, I just thought it sounded cool if it was the first one.

He's been actively recruiting for us since he committed. He's been all in the other recruits ears, and was recruiting Dunkley heavily at the game this past Saturday.

Just went to warchant to see if there was any info about these guys. Makes me wish I had a subscription. Six or seven threads in their premium section first page about us. Some highlights:

"Brandon Willis on his commitment to Tennessee"
"WTF is with Tennessee"
"University of Tennessee: best case scenario for us with coaching changes"

I may just break down and do the 7 day trial.

I love recruits that are solid like this... to be elite and to have that kind of attitude really makes you proud to be a Vol.

There is no doubt that Miller will be a great Vol. His work ethic is one of a kind and he truly loves being a Vol.

He's probably my favorite recruit in this class....no matter who gets on board from here on out.

Jac is still my favorite. At one point he was introducing himself as the first 2010 UT Commit. He loves the Vols and has been recruiting from day one. Plus he's home grown and an elite talent. I just don't see it getting much better than that.

It certainly can't hurt our chances with Quarles to have 2 other elite prospects from his state attending this weekend. Especially when they are enamored enough to come on their own dime...again.

Yep, can't go wrong with either of the bookends.
