'10 SC DT Kelcy Quarles

we may pump gas but that is better than armed robbery at a gas station....

as for quarles, if you want a father to have to an influence on a childs life, will UT provide daycare for kelcy's son?

31-13 against the least talented UT team you will see for a VERY long time.

would love to have him but I just don't see it...he has had multiple chances to make it back for a visit and each time he changes at last minute to go to another campus...IMO this is one of those situations like Eddie Lacy even if we took the lead for him; he would sit down at the table and get nervous about leaving home then sign with South Carolina

I think we can make a real strong push for this guy but in the end if his dad wants him to go to Gas Pumper U that is where he ends up.

So Bruce Irvin will be going to WVA. As most of you know the SEC requires an extra math credit for Juco transfers. Why? i dont know, but that is why Irvin will be going to WVU.

Dont be surprised if Tennessee makes a little swap with the top 2 DT's in South Carolina. All I will say is that the loser in all this would be USC.

Just a personal thought on the loss of Jose Jose. If i were on this staff, this would make James Stone an absolute priority. I think Stone would make a great center in our scheme with his smarts, and athleticism. Even if TN recruits him as a tackle, I think him ending up at center would be possible.

This is what nyc had to say on the situation. Willis leaves and Quarles comes.

The reason why on the Juco transfer rule is to increase graduation rates. JuCos not graduating was becoming an issue.

I remember when Kelcy said he would shock the world on NSD, but would stay in the SEC. What if he somehow has turned Miller? Just speaking my mind.

I just think its a weird statement to make because everyone knows UT is pushing hard for his services, so how will he shock the world?

DT Kelcy Quarles - Quarles is committed to South Carolina but he's on this list because he's looking around and will take at least one official visit. Tennessee is the big threat here, but I don't see him switching based on everything I've learned this week. He might still take his official visit to see the Vols on Jan. 15 and he has mentioned a possible official to North Carolina as well, but more likely than not he'll be a Gamecock come Signing Day despite his prediction to "shock the world".

The Leader: South Carolina

The Dark Horse: Tennessee

He has already said the " shock the world" statement was not about himself but another recruit. He is recruiting for the Gamecocks.

There's a little over a month 'til nat'l signing day. Tennessee will make a big push for Kelcy. He may be committed to USCjr, but it's not over yet.

No he did not. Prove it.

Yes, he did according to a Rivals employee who is out of Atlanta. He has strong Gamecock sources even though he is out of Another fan base. He posts a lot on Cockytalk, and tell us what he knows, not what we want to hear. He has only been wrong once. It's been said elsewhere, but I eremember his first. Page 41, the Proving Grounds.

Cockytalk? Really? :eek:lol: You've got to be kidding. And the Indians are upset over Redskins, geez.

Cockytalk is not the source, the Rivals guy is. He also said Miller is firm to UT. The looking around was very brief.
