I know, but I assumed he was asking about Smith since he's the topic of the thread and since he asked the question in present tense.

Had he asked, "WAS he a 5 star" then I would have known he was talking about Hardesty.

HArdesty was a 2 star..if they changed after the fact good for them. I remember well he was a 2 star safety recruit on one site.

Guys we might loose this one. He grew up an Alabama fan from the people I know that know him well. They said that he always rooted for them up until he comitted to UT. I am not going to set here and say I know him personally like ootlewah vol but I do know one of his best friends that talked to him yesterday and don't be suprised if he does pick Alabama.

I don't know if you are best friends with Jac or not but I do have a buddy that is. He talked with him yesterday and he told him it was down to LSU or Alabama. Now the one thing alot of people on here don't know is that he grew up an alabama fan. He did not start pulling for UT until he committed. If you know him well you also know this and this makes me think when he said those of you that know me well already know where I am going meant he is headed to Alabama. I hope your right though.

Impressive. I know a guy who knows a girl who gave herpes to a dude that shook hands with the father of a friend of a tennis player who farted in an elevator in front of a women who's son plays Madden 2010 with a guy who has a pet monkey that threw it's poop at a Cleveland Highschool QB that was sacked by Jac Smith!

Smith took a visit to Bama last year and when he came back, he couldn't stop talking about how much he hated it. Thus, I'll be shocked if he ends up there now.

The newspaper article here yesterday in Chatty quoted him as saying he's never been fond of neither Bama nor Saban. But, he was keeping his options open for what's best for his future.

Eric Berry didnt play on one, not one good vols team and he is goin to be a top pick in the draft. If Smith is good enough he will do well 4 himself in the NFL even at UT.
