"I found out that Alabama was offering me after my visit. That was great news because I have Alabama on top right now. I love everything about the school, but most of all I like Coach Saban because he likes to win," said Maclin. "I had a great time yesterday touring campus and checking out the academic tour. Their defense would be perfect for me. Coach Saban likes me at 'Jack' linebacker. I love that I can rush the passer and just pin my ears back at that position.

"I plan on checking out a lot of schools, but Alabama made a great impression on me. I have offers right now from LSU, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, Texas Tech and several more. I don't have any other visit plans right now but I will definitely be going back to Alabama."

Looking good so far for the TIDE!!!!

first off it's extremely early and he's just coming off the visit. LSU was his favorite before his visit, so he seems to be easily persuaded.

He's wearing a t-shirt that says "it seemd like a good idea at the time". I'm sure he'll be saying that a lot if he goes to Bama.

Plus you didn't follow format for 2010 prospects and there's already a Maclin thread you tool. If you want to post unorganized drivel, do it on your site.

Yeah its getting pretty say that Alabama honks keep coming on our site telling us about a recruit. Who freakin' cares. All that matters is where they sign. Plus he hasn't even been to K-Town. Lets put it this way, Play for SABAN or Monte. I'd choose Monte.

Woahhh buddy i think you got a little overwhelmed with yourself there. I know 2+ word sentences can be a little tough. I think what you were trying to say was "Why am i such a douchebag???". Your welcome for the help sport .

Well Lance, Lane, and Ed, u want to lock the border up, start with this kid. This upcoming year appears to be the deepest talent pool in TN high school fb in awhile. Funny how Bama went into memphis and got that malone kid a day after Kiffin was talking about keeping homegrown talent, cant lose maclin though, he will probably be the top player in the state or right up there.

Will Saban leave Bama when Wade Phillips is fired during next season, or will have a little more class than Petrino and wait until Bammer's season is over?

I'm sure Jerry Jones would rather have Shanahan or even Jason Garrett than Nick Saban. As much as I would love for him to leave, I don't see him in the NFL when there are much more attractive options (like the ones I mentioned and Gruden) for teams to think about.

Saban will become a midget wrestler before another NFL team takes a chance on him....he burnt that bridge

Why play for Monte Kiffin over Nick Saban...is that a serious question...

Check resumes and get back to me.:eek:k: Monte Kiffen is an excellent coach and will be remembered for years to come. So will CNS. Sometimes you have to be objective when you post.
