'10 TN OL Jared Duke

Have you seen duke play. He is very talented and would learn very quickly and has all the physical tools. First off, he is more intelligent than 99% of the people we are recruiting. He can pick up off good coaching. The only time you've seen him play is in the youtube video. That is not enough to judge.

When somebody looks bad in a highlight film, that usually isn't a good thing. His stance isn't very good, he doesn't finish, his hands aren't great. He's not ready to play in the Sun Belt, let alone the SEC.

when did you become a scout of talent all of a sudden? if the coaches offer i will trust their judgement.

btw ,since heaps had a bad combine i guess he sucks too?

Are you referring to the Stanford Nike Camp that Scout reported Heaps to be the top QB recruit in the country, or is this a touch of sarcasm?

I assume this kid will be at the June UT camp if they are interested in him at all. If he performs well, he could get an offer. If not, I guess he will need to look at other schools. Does anyone know if he has been invited to attend camp?

This is not the kids main highlight video. He has been invited to UT's camp and like ten others. Louisville saw him today. I talked to the guy that saw him and took him to Duke. Auburn visited the recently. I don't know what other camps he is going to though. And bburger your point is true but he hasn't been unknown in camps. I'm not saying anything I don't know because I don't know that much but he is getting attention from big time schools, including us.

I don't know anything about him really, I was just saying that based on the one bad combine comment thing.

bburger is right. The point of a highlight video is to (gasp) Highlight your ability. It doesnt matter if it is his main vid or not, if he doesnt look impressive in a video where he picked certain plays out of the whole season, an actual game film would probably be even worse. I am not impressed at all with this kid. He may be a good kid, but he is not an SEC player.

Per Hubbers. Duke is at camp.

Jared Duke - Cleveland, Tennessee (Walker Valley) - I got no idea if he can play a lick, but we have him in the database listed at 6-2. But the reality is that he is right at 6-6, which makes him a different looking tackle.

He looked great at the camp. He is huge, closer to 6'6"

He is getting looks from Louisville, Stanford, Auburn, Harvard, UTC and several others.

From what I heard got picked by chaney to be on his o line. He picked the o line and orgeron picked his d line and he held his own with some of the best. I honestly think he is more athletic than people give him credit for. He's got the body, strength, quick feet so with college coaching from the best why couldn't he be a future starter. Again. I am a homer with him but just to give another opinion other some negative that has been given. I just don't see how someone whos's getting looks by auburn, stanford, harvard, utc, utk, louisville, ole miss to name some. he can play and will be playing D1 ball by next year.

He very well may, but it won't be at Tennessee. Too many other prospects they like better.

You might be right though sab. We'll learn more in a couple of weeks on his status on how much UT is actually considering him.

I have faith in the coaches, but they are wasting too much time waiting on 5*s to commit, and they don't, so they are wasting time with other players they could have had.

dumb...dumb...dumb

and ironic coming from a person with "Bryce Brown heisman '10" as their message
