So are we talking like a David Holbert devastating knee injury?
Yes. He wasnt sure at first after the injury if he would even walk again and was wheelchair bound for a while. He is a monster if he is back anywhere he was but it'll be the fall before we know.

I think an offer could come after they evaluate him at spring practices. September is six months away. I don't think they'll wait till fall ball to offer him.

"I attended Junior Days at Tennessee and Georgia Tech," he added. "Georgia Tech's was very organized and very business like. I really enjoyed that.

"At Tennessee, it was still very organized but it was much more exciting and much more lively. They both have a lot to offer and I took a lot away from both of those visits."

He's only 10 minutes from the campus now. I hope he enjoys a great spring and a successful senior campaign.

Hes 1 year removed already, most say it takes 2 years to fully recover from a serious knee injury like this, so thats his Senior year. Give him another year as a redshirt to work with the new S & C coach and the medical staff at UT and he will be more than ready to contribute and have a great career.

He's not a lock. If Bammer were to offer we'd have a hell of a fight on our hands.

I only hope he is offered if he is healthy. I am a little worried about his ability after this injury. Can he play the same like he did before?

ESPN Scouts Grade: 79

Their evaluation

"Tait is a real workhorse both sides of the football. He has good size and carries his weight well for such a big man. This guy has a super motor and goes 90 miles an hour every play both as an offensive guard or defensive lineman. He has a great combination of talent and attitude."

I hope we get him!

there some other olineman recruit besides tait and hurst at practice tuesday too. his pic is in volquest practice pics. I like having all these recruits at practice everyday. I wouldn't be suprised if people have visited that we don't know about cuz they have been keeping quiet on that front but kids keep showing up

I really think that the critical OL and DL situations will be addressed this year, and this staff is gonna come through in a big way.

This is O's passion. Yaw yaw big uglies!

"I went to the Tennessee junior day and besides that I'm really just working hard," he said. "I'm getting my grades right and getting in shape for spring ball. Those are my two focuses."

"LSU, Alabama, Tennessee and Georgia Tech are really up there and sending me a lot of mail and I've been in contact with other coaches but those four schools really the most."
Per Rivals... He just recieved his second off from New Mexico...
