Actually, I'm being sarcastic because the entire conversation is ridiculous. Over exaggerations on both sides. Let's be honest and unbiased for a sec. He's a good athlete that doesn't play great competition. He'll be a D1 player but most likely not for a BCS school. Haters want to hate, and fan boyz cry foul.

Im not crying for anybody im just giving the dude respect cause he can play..It's people on here that probably can't do half of what the kids we talk about can..Im good tho cause half of these people will just continue to talk on here and I will never see them in person

i watched wallace play in the state finals this year. he has a really good deep ball, but his footwork and underneath throws were not all that good. tyler rice of wayne county is a little better qb than wallace. i see both of these guys playing ball, but probalby not at the leval that some think.

He's Eric Berry mixed with Peyton Manning...we get it...you've said it like 237912 times trying to be funny and Arshad, for some reason, feels the need to respond to every single one...the problem is that neither side is particularly interesting, insightful, or funny at all...

Bo Wallace to Rod Wilkes = 1 play 80 yard drive that takes 2.1 seconds off the clock. If Rod wouldn't have stopped at the 30 to tie this shoes before catching the ball in the endzone it would have been only 1.7 seconds.

Like I said in my previous post, he is a great athlete, in fact, one of the best in the state. I have seen him play numerous times. However, he is not going to get a scholarship to UT. He could walk on and maybe earn one, but he will not get one this year coming in. When I come to the recruiting forum, I want to find the most updated news on propects that UT is interested in, that is why it bothers me to see this bumped every day. Sorry for the rant.

Im not trying to be holy,insightful,interresting or whatever...I was pointing Ironman22 bashing thats all cause he is from the town where bo lives..why bash him? he doesnt like his dad so he makes sarcastic jokes about a 17 year old..People say let the thread die but it won't cause haters will keep poppin up on here to defend ut the cheating school:eek:lol: But this is my last post on this thread Bo is good..He can't play for a school that will not be contending for anything in the future congrats to all these die hard vol fans:clapping:

talked to a buddy today said this kid is NOT d-1 material,sorry ironman.this guy was a high-school coach for about 8yrs.

I think that if they took a hard look at him they would find the true measure of an athlete. Not looking at his future talent but what he is now. To think though, Kiffen invited him up individually last summer and they hung out so there is that relationship/correspondence. I think with his undeniable talent that he'll be there competing next year.:rock:

where have I heard all this before? Quarterback that led his team to a state championship... Mr. Football... the talent to be the next great homegrown quarterback for the Big Orange...

Oh yeah... I heard it all from the Un-Official Chattanoogans for BJ Coleman Fan Club rallies about 2 years ago. And BJ was 2 TIME Mr. Football!

It reminds me of when they used to have Vol Calls after the games on the Vol Network radio with Wilkerson back in the late 1990's. I remember back in 1999, there were actually people (from Sevierville I guess), who would call in and ask when Joey Matthews was going to get a chance since Martin had a bad game against Auburn. Of course, Tee won consecutive SEC Player of the weeks the next 2 games and was the last Vol QB to be named 1st team All SEC honors, and Joey Matthews went on to grow a fatter moustache than Crompton ever dreamed about.

The morale of this story is that they were the last two great white (homegrown) hopes for the program, and look how that turned out... one's a policeman, and the other is starting for UT-Chattanooga (where, in all reality, he fits right in talentwise- he's a good qb for a program like UTC, but not in the SEC).

and that both were much more sought after prospects out of high school than Bo Wallace.

Bo's mom pretended to be 3 people on a message board talking up her son, and Ironman busted her on it. I went back and read through the posts over on CoachT after Ironman and Winchell explained it to me earlier in this thread (out of morbid curiosity about banning folks on internet boards about High school football), and I'll give Ironman credit, he didn't do anything that warranted being called out the way he was. From what I read, it seemed like he was booted for not towing the line over there about Wallace.

Personally, I think this thread is kind of funny because it does a good job of highlighting some of the more ridiculous expectations placed upon a "local hero." Like Coleman, Matthews, etc...
