If Kiffen doesn't bring this kid up to Knoxville and he ends up at Martin, Kiffen will surely wish he had done things different. Wallace will make him eat crow and like it next year when the season kicks off!:clapping:

Does ANYONE....ANYONE..understand the simple concept here????

Wallace is a really good talent and a great HS player...just not SEC material. He should go to the OVC (AUSTIN PEAY BTW) and set that conf on fire. He will be great there.

Phil Simms(ovc), Tony Romo(ovc),Kurt warner, Steve McNair, John Gilliam, jr, ect..... went to small school and made it to the next level. It CAN be done. Wallace has not shown he is SEC material. Not a knock on him..so what. I was not good enough to play golf in the SEC...but still played well in college and played professionaly.

If someone posting here is a friend of his......do him a favor...quit talking about LSU or UT. Talk him into going to a school where he can play from day 1! Wolke and Sweeney and Cade Thompson went to ND and Louisville and I think S. Car. out of HS. Where are they now??? D1AA and playing GREAT! WHERE THEY SHOULD BE!

Just like Dasher!

Dasher as an ATHLETE was overlooked by alot of schools. No one is confusing Wallace as an ATHLETE. He is a QB that will be great in 1AA..........NOT D1! As a QB!

BTW....MTSU is D1A........get the facts straight!

you cannot be serious on several accounts:

1. Kiffin not Kiffen
2. Wallace at UT Martin will struggle mightily against UT's defense in Neyland playing as a true Frosh

My facts are straight and you have a red ass about Dasher :)
I was messing with ya man.

This has been a fun thread to read. I have seen this Wallace kid play. I have seen 100's of QB's play in live games over the years. I played HS and College (D3). At this point in his career, everyone should congratulate the Wallace kid on a great senior year. It is unfair, if not ridiculous, to place expectations on this kid that, not only should he get a full scholarship to a D1 school, that it should be an SEC school (the toughest conference in the NCAA), and not only an SEC school, but UT (a premium team with a storied history), and not only UT, but become their next starting QB?

It is hilarious - completey hilarious. If the Wallace family indeeds read this thread, then do yourself a favor. If UT is your dream, then send him to a prep school for one year - allow him to fill out some, and then go up on the hill.

Otherwise, think about how fun it would be to watch him run around at a DII or D1-AA school. You may want him to be VOL, but you may also adjust your expectations because he may end up holding a clipboard on the sidelines for 4 years.

I wish him the best of luck. BTW, I have been around enough to know about his dad (Bill) , and his uncle (Brian). They were quiet a pair running a veer offense back in the 80's. They were the best option duo I ever saw. In fact, I saw Brian fake a dive so well to the FB, that the ref blew the whistle play - while Brian ran aroung the left end for about an 80 yard TD (which was called back) - hilarious!

GO VOLS!

I obviously am not a Tennessee fan, nor do i care anything about any of your fans coaches players (other than 1) and students. i was not a 4 star out of high school GCHS but i was a walk on at Alabama team that won the SEC championship. i currently do college recruiting. i do know that there are a list of division 1 schools very interested in Wallace and 2 of them were at the state championship game. those too are much better schools to go to than UT and i know of 2 other schools that are in the process of contacting him this week. the 4 that i know are showing interest are LSU and OLE MISS were at the state championship game. Alabama and Florida both probably would have been except there still playing ball. I think that you all on here behind a computer are bringing a disgrace to your college and the student athletes that play there. i found this topic in a search in google (Bo Wallace quarterback tn) you need to praise this kid for what he has done on the field not what his father has or hasn't done to you or for you and what he did against your school of choice. I honestly believe the Wallace kid has the heart of a Tebow or Ingram and to me as a scout he is a 4 star hidden in a small town school. God bless and ROLL TIDE!!!! just incase you wonder i am one of the D1 recruiters that is hard after this kid.

I seriously doubt this is true after reading the last line, but if this is true this guy just committed a NCAA violation commenting on a un-signed recruit. Most likely a secondary violation, but could become a major violation if they can start looking into this recruitment.

Also, very interesting that he did not say that his school had made an offer. And if they had made an offer, why the kid had not committed. According to his post, this is a sure thing.

He is one of these "pay me and I will get your kid an offer" scumbags. I called him out and he tucked tail.

AAU coaches are more honest than these guys.

Well said. I agree 100%. Played against the brothers, awesome combination.

Well I didn't want to be the one to bump this thread because it should die a slow, painful death...but since it got bumped about 20 mins ago let me say that this is one of the most ridiculous comments ever posted on VN. An average QB with no SEC offers going to my alma mater(an FCS school) and going in and making Kiffin pay in Neyland Stadium for not signing him? That's just hilarious.

I agree with the first three paragraphs written. But you are wrong about the last. On the play you are talking about it wouldn't have been an 80 yard T.D., it would have been a 65 yard T.D. It wasn't out of the veer either it was out of a broken bone formation. Matter of fact the play was called A 13 and the snap count was on two. If you will remember, when you got about the other 20 you started waving your hand and the ball!:peace2:
