'10 TN RB Brady Earnhardt

I have very little understanding of the Rivals "star" ratings. Could someone please explain why Earnhardt has no stars? His Rivals profile stats are amazing and are not even current. Is it because he's not been seen by those who evaluate?

Hey eb4heisman, tell Brady next time you see him to work on his web page... Very hard to read.. IMO, he'd be a good one to move around, RB, slot, maybe some snaps at WR. He's be tough to defend.

You may have viewed Collin Earnhardt's DVD instead of Brady Earnhardt DVD? First part of Collin's looks like a stat page but you can't read it. I did the same thing.
Has anyone seen new video on Brady?

The prospects with no stars haven't been evaluated and rated yet but they will be if they participate in camps and combines.

I was told in addition to his top 40 & pro agility times, he had the second most reps on bench in the entire camp. If that's true, he's lifting more than all the linemen? Are linemen required to lift more weight than skill guys?

I'm pretty sure ALL kids rep the same weight (185 lbs.) And yes, he appears to lift more than the linemen.

I live in lebanon now, but went to MJ. Graduated in 96, and we definately did not have theses document and design classes that I remember. When I get a chance I will have to check out the running back at one of the games.

Orangeblur, thanks for the update. That's good news. Any idea how his Rival evaluation will be (or when)? He's dominating the combines! How big of a strike against him for being short?

I want this kid. Hopefully he leaves camp with an offer. I still dont know about him as a tailback. Could he be a fullback? With his strength he could block and if that speed is legit get him open in the flat with a dump pass and let him fly

Posted it in the camp thread, but I'll repost. He was the fastest in the 40 of the day. He ran a 4.49.

Sprinting is one of those things where u can swing plus/minus a tenth of a second on any given run. He can probably run a 4.4, still impressive that he was the fastest out of all the athletes thrre

According to a co worker (that's personal friends with the Earnhardt family), Brady hyperextended his knee at TN. camp Tuesday during one on one drills jumping for a catch. They said he had no damage, just very sore and he would be out a while. They also said he had a great vertical jump and 40 time during testing but was not happy with his pro agility drill. I don't know any times or his jump.
As i've said before, Brady sounds like a great kid that works extremely hard. I hate to hear anytime that a kid gets hurt. I hope he has a speedy recovery!

He looked very determined in all of his combine vids. I think this is a kid that plays with heart. I doubt he ends up on offense anywhere due to his lack of good lateral motion and quick hips. He will likely play at a low level division I school.

I get updates fairly often. He competed in the "linemen challenge" last Saturday at Greenwood, Ky. (16 total teams) and won the bench press competition with 35 reps. Closest to him from another school was 27 reps. The coaches are resting his knee after getting dinged up at TN. camp. They say he goes to the weight room every day for several hours lifting and doing cardio work (after morning football workouts) and has his weight up to 190 lbs. I can't confirm it, however; I heard he has interest from Texas A&M, Army, Missouri & TCU. As of yet, no apparent interest from Tennessee.

Anyone have any updates on Earnhardt? I read on Murphy Fair he's out for the year but also heard he's at MJ practice (in full pads)?
