Williams is a big, bruising back who has the build of a downhill, short-yardage runner but has surprisingly soft hands and runs good routes. In the one-on-ones and seven-on-sevens he changed direction well and got behind defenders with sneaky speed. However, it's clear that his bread and butter in college will be as a pounder who breaks tackles and moves the chains. And with his ability to catch the ball, a move to fullback could be an option.

No I don't think he's a fullback. Kid is a stud. Mark this. Better than half the top ten running backs in this years class. Kid is big fast and strong and knows how to play the game. He's also a cool guy from what I've heard (never personally talked to him).

he's the real deal....one of the top 10 players in the state..

I would even say he's top five. I mean, first off his sparq score is sick. When this guy grabs some pads this fall his stock will go up up up

Keon looked awesome in the camp videos. I would not be disappointed if he was the only RB we got for '10.

That's the thing...you can't base it entirely on his SPARQ score.. Davis Tull from Bearden had a SPARQ score of 106 in Charlotte....made all combine team..etc....there are some really good players in TN in the 2010 class......TNVarsity.com is coming out with a Top 100 starting next week....

Watch the skills video in the camp video thread and you will get a better look at him. He isn't fat. Think about it, if you are a 17 yr old kid that is a running back your're not going to be fat!

His name is Marlon. Funny thing, Keon Williams would not have been present for camp were it not for Kevin Scott. He had received an invitation from the coaches but they never sent him the details. Kev called him up and asked him if he was gonna be in Knoxville and he was like "Oh sh**" Needless to say, they made it into town.

we need to offer. Like someone said earlier, if he is the only back we get I will be thrilled. He is a big back that kiffin likes in his offense. Blur, you think we will offer anytime soon?

I think we'd manage, but he stepped up bigtime and although he was banned from here, he still allowed Eric and I to post his info. I think I misjudged the guy. Anytime you shoot straight and talk a lot -- which he does, it's bound to rub someone the wrong way at some point. (I do the same thing) I can admit that I was wrong about him.

He got a lot of info/videos at camp also. I think he just got off to a bad foot (to say the least) here.
