I would guess our staff knows already that we dont have much a shot at getting Seastrunk. He has mentioned that the depth chart and early PT are important factors... having just signed the #1 player and RB in the country, and the #1 AP RB in the country, we wouldnt look so good to him I wouldnt think.

Yeah not sure we get a great running back in this class unless we truly have somone who likes to compete for the starting job which there are not that many kids that want to do that...They want to come in and be the stud running back..

I think Keon will be a dark horse like Toney Williams. At the orange and white game Toney tore it up. It's to bad about his knee I was really looking for great things from him this year.

So did Roy Olasimbo. I think TW has definite potential, but don't look at O&W Game performances as an accurate predictor of things to come.

Tailback Keon Williams has gotten all sorts of pre-season publicity. He wasn’t all that impressive in the first half as he tiptoed his way to 25 yards on nine carries.

The second half was another story as he took charge with the ball in his hands, pounding his way for 109 yards on 14 trips to finish with 134 yards on the evening.

Keon played his first game tonight. Played pretty well from what I heard. He had 23 carries for 134 yards and 1 TD. It seems like he came back a little rusty as he only had 25 yards in the first half, but he then lit it up in the 2nd...

I was at this game and Keon was dragging defenders 4-5 yards downfield almost every time he got the ball in the 4th quarter. I don't know if he can play in the SEC, but he'll be no worse than a mid-major D-1 player.

Keon was the difference in Red Bank getting a close win over my alma mater Boyd-Buchanan, 14-7.

I'd hate to turn any RB prospects away, but that is one position where we have an embarrassment of riches, and should focus on a 2011 prospect.

We could use the extra scholarship on a lineman

I agree with Tennacious I mean this kid is good but not good enough ever get playing time for UT

He was the RB MVP at UTs camp and his SPARQ is as good as alot of top tier RBs. Let's wait about 3 or 4 more games to see what he does before we say he shouldn't get a UT offer. He hasn't played in 2 years...

Vader that is true but I was think we are in really good shape with backs in this class that are way better than him. For instance Giovanni. He looked great today. And Dyer and Seastrunk. If we miss out on all those then we may consider offering this kid

Heard he's having a good game tonight - they're crushing ER... only 13 carries though 2 TDs - took him out in the first half.

Keon Williams is a transfer running back from North Carolina who came to Red Bank with a lot of fanfare. Thirteen carries for 64 yards doesn't come across as staggering statistics, but he ran for two touchdowns and his services were no longer needed after the Lions led 31-0 at halftime.

This is what Keon did last week...

yea I put those up on the previous page. Keon won them the game from what it sounds like...

He pretty much did. Red Bank trailed by 9 late in the 4th quarter until Keon got them back in it with about a 50 yard TD run.

Williams had 151 yards rushing and 3 TDs on just 9 carries in Red Bank's 62-14 win over Howard tonight.

Keon did not get to play in the first half tonight because of disciplinary actions. The score was 0-0 at the half...

In the 2nd half, Keon had 11 carries for 122 yards and 2 TDs. Red Bank won 35-0...

Vader I believe this discilinary had to do with not going to class or grades, it is something of that nature
