Eric,

Any hopes that This guy could end up 6'4 330?

Not eric, but he could very easily end up that or bigger. He is already 6'3'' and still has more then a year before he steps onto campus as a frosh. Likewise, he is 315. He could EASILY become 330, but IMO that may be too big.

He will have to move around alot. Now if that is muscle that is another story, but 330 is usually too big for lineman.

Won't be too big. We have a S&C coach now. So he would be in great shape at whatever weight that's his ideal playing weight. Sign him up.

O i am in no way saying we shouldnt take him. I was refering to his playing size. 330 is just too big for our system. Chris scott is 310-330 and the coaching staff told him to loose some weight.

Yeah I think he was 310-330 lbs of lard. He probably will be like the Pouncey Twins from Florida. Big, strong, and athletic lineman.

Those Twins on the same high school line with chris rainey behind them is crazy. made it easy on that coach. That was the year of the Lakeland 7 i think.

Scott is listed at 346 on the utsports.com roster, FWIW. It could be old, though...IDK for sure.

While I believe Kiffin would prefer slightly smaller OL, if they can carry the weight well and aren't all fat, I don't think it would matter too much. JMO

If we're chasing the same OL as Saban and can get half of them on board. We are in for some fun years.[/QUOT

I agree. IMO, I would rather read about the lineman (offense and defense) than I would a QB. Not going to lie, I am tired of reading about them.

Bama has two OGs committed already and has very few open spots left for 2010. Bama likes Dalvin Glass a lot, but I just don't see Bama going after Glass now. I suppose that could change if Bama were to lose one of those OG commitments, but that is very unlikely. If Glass truly has UT and Bama on top, then he is probably UT's.

It seems like Bama is having the problem Texas has. They offer and people are committing early, then later they want someone more. It is a nice problem to have though.

And Texas is having a major problem of keeping the very best players in-state. Just look at Seastrunk, Jeffcoat, and White...
