1000 Days Without a Budget

Maybe if LG repeats the same lie enough times, it will eventually be true. For instance, if the GOP takes over the Senate this year, he'll be right in 12 months or so. Kind of a stopped clock kind of thing.

The way things are going, and given the coat tails the GOP candidates will evidently have to work with, they probably ought to at this point be praying they don't lose the House back.

There are no polls that suggest that will even come close to happening.

Had they passed them all at one time, and for the upcoming fiscal year, then in that case a bunch of budgetary items would equal a budget. They have not done that.

But the correct answer does not fit his arguement, therefore it is wrong.

When someone tries parsing words, they typically have a shallow argument and don't want to appear wrong. In this case, LG is parsing words but doesn't even come close to appearing right. There is no trick of language that can give the impression that the Senate has passed a budget.

So when a D stretches the truth or misrepresents it is "doofusy". When an R does so it is 100% false and a blatant misrepresentation.

Got it.

You do realize what the Senate is doing is avoiding putting forth a budget and using a series of continuing resolutions to keep spending going right? You do realize this is not the intended budgeting process right?

So your saying they are skipping that process, because theoretically budgets should balance? Or that should at least be the goal?

the level of absurdity on display in this thread in defense of the clowns afraid to venture forth with a budget that will get crammed in their asses come election time is off the charts.

So you think they are playing politics? Outlandish.

Best run-on sentence I've ever read. No grammar-police (say it in your head like "no homo").
