There is no doubt that next year will be ours to lose. With Leak graduating and the key players that the other SEC East teams are losing we should be set. Ainge will be a Senior we will have Metcham back because there are several receivers coming out this year. so with one more year under his belt he will be the top guy WR next season. I am ecstatic that this season is so successful. I cant wait to see what next season has in store.
It is going to be at least until 2008 until we can say a season is ours. We still will not have the players on our offensive line next season. Oh, and, Meachem will be gone.

The Citrus and Cotton are designated for the 2nd and 3rd best SEC teams, respectively. So, I guess you expect nothing less than an appearance in the Sugar Bowl every season???

You should probably actually learn about college football prior to whining about it.

While I concur with much of your analysis of reason, it is also unfortunately true that CPF has only taken us to 3 BCS/major bowls in 14 seasons.

That doesn't make him a bad coach, but it is what it is.

I would like to add that if UT makes TWO stops, one against UF and one against LSU, we are sitting #3 behind Michigan waiting to jump into the #2 spot in the poll IMO.

True, it is what it is. However, Spurrier certainly ruled the roost for 5 of those years. When Fulmer should have been in position to take over, Cut was gone and Fulmer never placed enough trust in Sanders to run the offense. So, we had some good years, but were never fully able to get over the top (for lack of a better cliche.)
