'11 FL DE James Wilder Jr.

I would have to agree with HG. I don't think this guy is going to UF. I think it will be Bama in the end, but FSU and Miami have a chance as in-state schools, at least better than UF. Like LV said, long shot for UT, but I'm still going to hold some hope.

Say what you like but you tell me the last player from Plant to play at UF???? Haven't had one in ten years so add that with the "Saban-effect" =Bama.

Oh I agree with you man, but more because of the fact that Saban will tell anybody anything to get them signed and other people are being a little more honest with the kid.

IMO UF WON'T do well this year instate...3-4 more commits( 1- 5,* 3- 4*) and he'll make up the rest of this class from the eastcoast and pulls two from Cali. Meyer is going to shift his focus now that Jimbo's in Tally and Saban pulling talent out of the state like Bama has a campus in central Fla.

Is FLA offering him as RB? Only kid I can remember that everyone has so high at THREE different positions, DE, LB, RB. He is a freak athlete...I didn't realize he was at Plant, I wonder how many calls he gets from the ga duo that went to Plant?

think 18 would be the max

What?

You guys are 3 under the 85 man limit, have 18 seniors, plus Janoris Jenkins is going pro.

UF is taking 22 minimum.
Your math is off, we only have 16 Sr on scholly...Moses Jenkins has a medical redshirt so it's unlikely he'll leave after one yr PT. Meyer, still honors Paul Wilson rides also....we were three over going into the spring so with us losing two players to transfers and releasing Vann that put us at the limit. I'm also counting the two preferred walk-ons that could become schollies and back counted against this class or next cycle so at best 20 but more likely 18. Not to mention us going after Jarvis Jones and Josh Haden for the 2010 cycle.

For now. The entire 250 will be different in 6 months.

just wondering what your reasoning is on that. maybe because all the big schools are going to fill up. when tennessee tanks this year and yes i'm on the crowd that thinks 5-7 seems right, i would have to say major recruits will shy away. regardless we will be middle of the class in sec recruiting.

Asked if his standout had started to narrow things down, Weiner replied, "Not really." He added, however, that Wilder is high on the places he has visited -- Alabama, Florida, Florida State and Tennessee.
