He looks pretty good im not sure if he is the top QB on our board because of him being 6' but he looks like he has a good arm and he can move pretty good too.

Ely doesn't have great size, but seems to be solid. Isn't this the same school where Aaron Murray played? He's only about 6ft tall too. I guess they don't care at the HS level. We will get to see this season if Murray's size is a problem in the SEC.

"The end of summer is when I plan to decide," Ely said. "I want to make sure it is done in the summer because I am a mid-year guy. I want to get the decision done with.

"I will narrow it down sometime in July once I get all these unofficial visits done. I like to work with five schools. That should make it easier."

I dont like our chances with him we have alot of ground to gain to be able to pull him from FAU or USF IMO

watching him vs. Teddy Bridgewater on ESPNU at the Nike 7on7 camp. He has a really strong arm but has made some bad decisions.

Bridgewater's team is stacked with talent.

I saw that game. Bridgewater needs a lot of work with his mechanics. His throwing motion is odd to say the least.

True, although we will see if he has any trouble when 6'1"-6'6" DLs/LBs are rushing and blitzing him. Dude definately has talent. Wish he would be sporting O&W.

No one on the Bama boards even knew he had an offer until about 30 minutes ago. But according to LSU fans we only offered to keep him from to LSU.:)
