'11 FL WR Chris Gallon

Larry Porter has been recruiting him before he took the Memphis job.

I am convinced that Porter has been able to convince a few prospects to just put Memphis in their top 3-5 just to help him get his name out there.

Just like him getting Seastrunk to visit Memphis last year.

They do not have anything to offer. Conference, facilities, tradition, etc. etc.

I apologize if this has already been discussed, but I ran across this article today in the Bleacher Report in regard to Chris Gallon:

Gallon's stock rising
Wide receiver Chris Gallon (Orlando/Dr. Phillips) will be part of the large contingent of teammates headed to Ann Arbor for the Wisconsin game on November 20 and while the 6-foot-5, 200-pounder doesn't have an offer from the Wolverines, he is climbing on several recruiting boards around the nation.

"I just got an offer from Florida Atlantic and one from Bowling Green," Gallon added. "There have been a lot of other schools in contact with me."

Gallon also holds offers from Memphis, Colorado State and Florida A&M. During the Nike 7-On tournament he said the school he most wanted an offer from was Tennessee.

"I would still love an offer from UT but I haven't talked to them much lately," Gallon said. "Other schools like Nebraska and some of the Florida schools are starting to ask about me so we'll see."

Outside of the trip to Michigan, Gallon said he'll probably wait until after the season for any other visits.

Is he any good and is Tennessee still interested???

By stock rising does he mean offers from Florida Atlantic and Bowling Green, then i would sell this stock.

Dr. Phillips senior receiver Chris Gallon sat out the Panthers 38-28 region final victory over visiting Seminole Ridge (11-2) on Friday night. But DP athletic director John Magrino said that completes a two-game suspension for Gallon and he is cleared to return to the practice field on Monday and play on Friday at Seminole (11-2) in the Class 6A state semifinal round.

Magrino gave no specifics on why Gallon was suspended, but we know that the two-game suspension is consistent with the penalty Orange County Public Schools handed down to one other unnamed player following its investigation of a September locker room altercation. Gallon is one of six DP students who face misdemeanor charges of hazing and battery in that case.

I believe I read from HG that Gallon is on the Gators list now.
yeah he should get his written offer this week.Still waiting on test sores but now that KB seems off the board, Gallon and Jr. Pomee will be the big wr targets. UF could be the leader now that Dee Hart is heading t Bama.

thats the key, If Dee stayed at Michigan, then Gallon probably follows to Ann Arbor.

Btw, Gallon does not look slow.

Gallon Again!
50 yd TD. Big Boy'd the CB on a jump ball, hauled it in, and took it to the house.

Gallon is destroying these Central DBs.

they have resorted to interfering with him the last 2 throws to him, one would have been another TD.
