'11 FL WR Chris Gallon

Exactly. More to it than a 40 time. Getting faster and posting a fast 40 are completely different. Alot of people have false 40 times. There's no way Matt Milton runs a consistent 4.4

for Chris Gallon there is nothing more. he needs to be faster. thats it.

So we take Gallon over Arnett if he'd commit first.

I'm in no way jealous of you. I think you're wrong alot of times and noone but maybe eric will say anything.

Matter of fact didn't I just PM you earlier???

if he ran a 4.4 yes. he would be a huge get being that fast.

i think you are wrong pretty much every time and everybody else points it out so i usually don't have to.

what does you PMing me have to do with anything?

For some reason I don't see Gallon on there anywhere. In fact the person you were in agreement there.... was ME!!!

I said we'd prefer take Arnett and Dallas. You listed our main targets. Now you're saying we'd take the first 2 to commit out of Gallon, Dallas, and Arnett.

Again... making my argument for me.

Ok, so you basically said Gallon wasn't even one of our main targets... that was to finalize our WR class. But now, to win an argument, you say we'd take him with a faster 40 over Arnett or Dallas.

I see how you work. peace.

hahahahahahahaha i hope you aren't serious. you asked me if we would take him if he ran a 4.4. i said yes.

he runs a 4.7 or a 4.8 so no he is not really on our board. he is too slow.

i hope you can understand this.

he would be a top 15-20 WR with a 4.4 40 time

are you really this dense?

Gallons team is moving up the national rankings:

1. Dr. Phillips (3-0): Panthers jumped from No. 40 to No. 19 in this week's national RivalsHigh 100.

Well after reading the past few pages a few thoughts:

1) LV is right about AJ being a DE this was pretty much alluded to in the interview after AJ signed. AJ spoke about CCS being his position coach at UT and about his history developing Dlinemen. Sorry to tangent to that in another recruit's thread but it is worth clearing up.

2) I don't see Gallon improving his time enough to get an offer unless we miss on several other recruits. Even then I think we would pass on him and use the scholarship on another position, JMO though.

My opinion they would if we needed to

I think AJ will play MIKE to start off just because of our depth. I think he'll backup Austin Johnson. He may even see a little time at another LB position. Eventually I do think he'll move to DE though.

And I agree, Gallon isn't just a 40 time away from us taking him over Dallas or Arnett. Not getting back into that argument though. JMO, I guess haha.

:peace2:

Ridiculous on his stats if that's accurate, but not much to show any kind of consistency on only 8 grabs. Still ridiculous though.

True on AJ -- Good call for LV.

I think LV's point was correct -- if Gallon did run a 4.4 we would probably be interested. But he is not even close, so we are not interested -- at all, in my opinion.

We are looking more for a fast, slot receiver type so Gallon does not fit what we are looking for. Unless something changes, we will not offer him.

Nice post :clapping:

Agreed. As I said, Gallon isn't what we're looking for right now until other things fall of the board. Sure if he ran a 4.2 forty how could you not offer him? But if he had the ability to disappear and reappear in the end zone every play we'd offer him too. He runs a 4.6 or 4.7 legit. The coaches have told him what he needs to do for an offer but in the end he's not really what we need.

We need to take 2 slots and that's all at WR. Our concern is in the trenches and at LB.
