'11 LA WR Bradley Sylve

As far as Sylve, normally I would say the chances of him not going with LSU as low, but not this year... the state is stacked with talent this year. I would put him either at the #3 or #4 WR in the state. I doubt LSU takes 4 WRs this year. We have already signed the top 2, so Sylve could be a pickup for someone.

skimmed most of your post, but this here says all I need to know ab your opinion. Sylve the no. 4 WR in the state? GTFO

Actually I said he was probably the #3 WR in the state but 3 or 4 is debatable. Let me see you would be the only one in the country to have him higher than Laundry. Actually, if Magee plays WR I would say Sylve is probably 4th or 5th best WR in the State as of right now so yes unless things change he could be on the outside looking in as far as LSU goes, if Laundry decommits then it might be game on for him.

Right now LSU has 2-3 WR commits already for 2011 depending on what position Magee was sold. There might be a position for one more but I doubt 4 will be in the mix this year. I would say LSU is working it but it wouldn't be a great loss at this point so I would probably hard court press if I were an out of state school. LSU and Alabama are his top 2. He did have knee surgery but he has world class speed. LSU doesn't wait on guys anymore, burned too many times on waiting.

The State was a little weak on talent for 2010, matter of fact most fans were very excited to see the class turn out good, now the 2011 class is a different matter, there won't be enough room at LSU for the talent this year.

to be fair, what has our staff shown? No way does a kid from S. Plaquemines go anywhere but LSU.

To be fair, what chance has our staff had to show anything?

Les Miles has wasted talent on both sides of the ball since hes been there. So his track record is pretty bad at this point.

Ours is clean. :)

And to the long winded LSU fan.

I would be willing to bet that if you went and looked at all the 4star + WRs / ATHs / RBs that have been on the roster since Miles has been there, it would be a very impressive list of FAIL.

The reason my post are long is because people keep saying the same stupid things over and over, as it seems you have failed to do so once again.

I know who they have recruited and who has been on the roster, the only one that is having an epic fail is you. If I remember correctly, Tennessee actually had the number one RB recruit last year.

I am actually pretty confused, one Tennessee fan says the team was loaded the other one says we didn't have good RBs and WRs.

The fact is 2007, 2008, and 2009 hardly any WRs and RBs were recruited... 2006 was a huge year but all those players are now gone except for Murphy due to injury. I have no idea what you are talking about and I don't think you know either.

I follow LSU as much as I do UT, and you're talking out of your ass. First, Landry is one of the top 5 WRs in the nation, and no where did I hint Sylve is better. He is however better than Lewis. Every set of rankings you'll see, both national and local guys, will reflect that. No way does LSU not have a spot til the end for him. Third, Magee is being recruited as a RB. Fourth, LSU will take more than 3 WRs, write it down. And lastly, Sylve had foot, not knee surgery.

he's misplayed some guys for sure, esp last year, but he has a NC and LSU continues to churn out highly drafted WRs.

They are not going to take more than 3 guys this year, unless you are using Magee as a WR also. You are blowing smoke up your own butt. Yeah, I am talking out of my ass, even dandy don has him 3rd in the state. LSU has offered, they are not going to cry if they don't get him because already have the guys they want. I could only see taking 4 guys if Magee goes to WR, yeah, I know he was recruited at RB, I think that depends if they move Hillard.

Of course, that is what you are going to say... trying to save face after just making up BS. If you think LSU is loaded up on 4-5 star guys at RB/WR then you explain why they were down to 2 RBs by the end of last year and one of them Holliday really isn't even a RB and he was a 2005 recruit. You make absolutely no sense so you do the whole BLAH, BLAH, BLAH thing because you have some kind of complex. Recruiting at RB and WR for the years 2007-2009 was very weak. I would say this is a fact, if you knew anything about the team you wouldn't have said it.

Only two RBs for recruiting year 2007-2009, Ford was a redshirt last year. LSU was recruiting 2-4 RBs a year before that, we got no RBs in 2008, 1 in 2007 and 1 in 2009.

2007: 2 WR - Tolliver, Bryd(NFL 2009)
1 RB - Ridley

2008: 2 WR - C. tolliver(redshirted 2008, played a little in 2009), Molton (3-star transferred to La Tech)
No RBs

2009: 1 WR - Randle
1 RB - Ford (redshirted 2009)

Now please tell me about all huge number of skill players vanished to. Maybe you have LSU confused with Alabama, they are super loaded at WR and RB for years to come. Alabama has more skill guys for just one of the years 2007-2009 that LSU has total in those years.

you are ignorant if you believe that. LSU had 4 first round offensive skill draft picks in '06 alone

We are not talking about 2006, there was comment made that LSU had loaded up at WR and RB the last few years. Anyone that knows anything about LSU football will tell you those positions were very weak in recruiting.

BTW in 2006 LSU only had one first rounder Addai, if you meant 2007 LSU did have 4 first rounders(3 offense but I have no idea why Russell and Davis were taken that high).

His national championship was a complete fluke. When was the last time a 2 loss team got into the national championship game??? Losing 2 games with the talent he had on that team was a downright embarrassment.

LSU has tons of talent. They will never recruit any better than they already have. Miles is just a classic underachiever as a coach. He belongs in the same category as Richt IMO.

Agreed. No one who loses to Kentucky and Arkansas even deserves consideration to play for a national title; I don't care how many 2-loss teams were at the top in '07.

A fluke, did you watch the game. I swear it's almost like they don't have television in Tennessee... they blew Ohio State out, it was like watching them play a community college. Oh I see you are from Ohio, hahahahah! Ohio State has some of the best recruiting classes year in and year out and they continue to get killed. I mean they don't just lose, they get their asses kicked.

Man, this forum is something else, it's like watching a bunch of sore losers talk about how every team is bad but they have a program that is just a complete mess.

LSU and Florida have had the best college football over the last decade, Florida probably has the lead. Everything else is just sore losers acting mad and crying about. I guess Miles should be winning the championship every year.

The motto of the forum should be, "When your team sucks, talk about how every other team hasn't won a national championship this year" and if that fails, "talk about how the other teams are underachieving" and when that fails, "talk about how their coach got lucky".

1. I'm not in Tennessee.

2. Yes I watched the game. Ohio State had no business being in that title game either. They had just lost to a crappy Illinois team at home less than a month before the end of the season.

Like I said it was a really bad year for college football across the board.
You won't see a 2-loss team get into the national title game, especially with losses to teams like UK and Arkansas for another 25+ years.

I'm not knocking on LSU. I'm knocking on LSU's coach. There talent level isn't going to get any better than it already has been. He's had elite talent since he's been there and IMO has underachieved.
