The point is LSU wanted Sylve. Now that he's committed to Alabama, he becomes just "the 2nd or 3rd ranked WR in Louisiana". He was a lock forever, but now he's just another WR, right?
And "a monster in 2011"? Ha. Not with Lester at the helm. Did you block out the last two years? Has the trend of the program not hit you in the face yet? Does Larry Coker mean anything to you?
He was not a lock, there is no lock. Just because some stupid fan said he is lock doesn't make it so. Most fans including me never considered this guy a lock nor Johnson. Heck we could lose other guys, it's no big deal. Oh my a 3 star might not come, oh I guess we shut the program down.
"Did you block out the last two years?"
No, I am a fan, I don't expect the team to win a national championship every year. There is some things that could have been done better, over all we have a top 5 program. I don't expect a great 2010 season, the team will be in better shape in 2011. IMHO
As far as Sylve, it's really no big deal, trust me we will have the best class LSU has ever had regardless of the ranking. LSU gets 90% of the in-state recruits. What next, "LSU couldn't keep the #1 ranked waterboy".
"Not with Lester at the helm."
Yep, sounds like Charles Barkley saying he would bet any amount of money the Celtics would not be the Cavs the other night.
I am sorry you are so frustrated in life. Sorry we will roll on as everyone else say how terrible we are... funny stuff. Sorry, LSU has either had the top 1 or 2 football programs over the last 10 years. Rewriting history seems futile.
I mean if you are going to rip on teams you should be ripping on teams that haven't WON. This discussion is like a mad man saying how terrible Micheal Jordan is during his run. Wake me up when we haven't won a SEC or National Championship in a decade or two.
"You guys are terrible, you haven't won a National Championship in over 2 years"
"You guys are terrible, you can't recruit anymore because a recruit that is probably a 3-star left the state"
"You guys are terrible, a couple of more loses and you would have had a losing year"
