'11 MI RB Justice Hayes

I think this is it...A huge piece to the puzzle! I think we took another RB, the staff informed Justice and he decided to commit elsewhere.

So he decommits from ND for us, we take another RB and he decides to commit to Michigan. All in a matter of days. Riiiiiight.

Well I don't think he decommitted from ND for us. Something happened up there. Kelly knew he wasn't all in or sensed something. Who knows about that end of it. However, I do believe he was told to look elsewhere. Especially with all the recruiting DArnett was doing. Pat Martin, as well.

He decommitted from ND with a team in mind. That was Michigan. We were never a factor apparently.

Or so he says. If you were a top RB would you come out and say "They didn't want me. I wanted to play in the SEC, but they told me to look elsewhere."

I mean, you could be right. I'm just saying it could have happened.

Oh well. At least we don't have to agonize over it for very long. Would have loved to have him in orange, but oh well. Seems like a good kid. Good luck to him.

Hmmm...last I heard, some UT staff was going up to see him. Can anyone confirm that those plans have been cancelled. I can't wait until tomorrow to see some reasoning behind this, a statement by Hayes, and a statement from the staff (Hubbs, etc.)

I don't understand it either. The only thing that would make sense to me is that the staff could have possibly told him that he was 2nd or 3rd on their board, and maybe he didn't want to wait around. We might not ever know really. He could have possibly really wanted to be closer to home.

Does Hubbs have a beeper? Can we call him and ask him to do some digging. I have an hour or so before I usually go to bed. I'll call if someone has a number.

Something does'nt seem right about it. He wanted to get in contact with us last night & we were suppose to send coaches up to see him then he commits to Michigan.

I believe he had wanted to come here after he decommitted and was told to look elsewhere. We have bigger fish to deal with.
