BK typically blows off guys who no longer interested in (justin worley for example). on the other hand, if BK wants a guy he will make a concerted effort to acknowledge said recruit during the visit (walking straight over to savon huggins after walking out of the tunnel for example) ...

hayes looks good for a "class rankings" or "star" standpoint, but as far as talent goes, well you can watch the youtube video yourself and make your own opinions...

I got SCORCHED for saying I thought he was a bit over-rated this a.m. I didn't say he wasn't a real good player, but not convinced he's the homerun hitter some have labeled him as. Admire your honesty, some go with the majority rather stick with their OPINIONS.

I agree with you, Hayes doesnt have true breakaway speed but Hayes is a very good RB. Very elusive & vision.

Or maybe you are in the minority of said opinion. Trying to be a martyr in a recruiting forum. Who gives a shiz if people disagree with you that's what message boards are for, to discuss and debate.

NO! NO! NO! NO! Not saying that. But if you will go back and read, you will see that I got MUTILATED this morning for saying I think he is over-rated. He is good enough to play for UT, he is. I just think we have a back with a similar skillset in Oku. Good in space, good solid speed but not blinding speed, real good hands. Doesn't mean I think he is bad or not worthy of playing at UT. Just means I don't think he'll be a major homerun hitter at the SEC level we say we want. He WILL be a good solid back!!! But I don't change my opinion due to a guys star rating or what the rest of the thread says.

What are you talking about? I'm not trying to be anything, you got that locked down. I've took my stand with this player, I'll keep it. Seems my opinion rubs you the wrong way, I'm just fine with yours. Take your own advice, discuss and debate.

And it takes a hellacious amount of courage to go against the grain with dudes like LV and Jmoore21 and stand by your opinion, knowing they will be correct MOST of the time. But I stand by my opinion, I think dude is a good solid RB, a legit major D-1 RB. Nothing more nothing less. Slinging pooh at someone because you KNOW you are correct, laughable. Giving my opinion doesn't make me a martyr. You actually are sounding a bit childish...

Hahaha. :eek:lol: Dude, it's not even like people were ganging up on you this morning. There were plenty of people on here who were saying the same thing as you and who thought Hayes doesn't have great breakaway speed.

Oh well, if Hayes wants to stay in state, I'm perfectly happy landing Bigelow/Bellamy or using the spot on another position. Smith is a good RB; I'd be happy with him as the only RB in this class (counting DY as a specialist instead of RB) with all our issues at other positions. We can grab a great RB next year.
