'11 MI RB Justice Hayes

You make a good point. It's JMO opinion anyways. I don't expect him back, but would gladly take him.[/QUOTE]

at least you aren't one of the idiots who claims to not want him back. Those guys are a joke. if he wants to come back, you take him back.

Absolutely, you take him back. If CDD is okay with it and the team is okay with it, absolutely. I don't see him coming back, but I hope he does.

Should I be waiting for the abb4 character to post his discontent?

i dont really have a problem with you asking this question in every single thread... but don't you think if anyone had anything new they would post it? i mean i could understand if the thread went 4 months without a post, but cmon..

"My favorites right now, I'm still at six," Hayes said. "My top are Michigan State, Michigan, Tennessee, Notre Dame, Northwestern and Iowa. When I get out this summer to all six schools, I'm going to try to cut it to three or four."

Nice. He has said repeatedly that he would like to compete in the SEC. Since we are the only SEC team in his remaining six, I think we have a pretty good shot here.

I love how we've stayed in his top 6 and are right up there with his home state schools. As JKV has stated, Hayes has stated he wants to play in the SEC and make an impact like Ingram has. I think the SEC lure will help us out in the end. Would love to get this kid.

Him and arnett would be amazing for this class

That would really set us up nicely for RB and WR in this class.

Hayes + Smith would be an excellent 1-2 punch, and Arnett is a stud receiver. We don't need many WRs out of this class due to our very talented group we already have. That will free us up to use other schollies for higher need positions.

i dont get that impression. yeah, he said he wanted to be like Ingram, and that the SEC is the toughest conference, but every other athlete in America says that and who wouldnt want to be like the reigning Heisman champ?

i dont like that we are the only SEC team in his list. gives me the fealing that he is leaning towards the home schools.

i guess time will tell.

A direct quote from him concerning the Vols:

"I was waiting for an SEC offer and it came from Tennessee. They've had the success in the past and I think they can contend for a good season. They've produced some good NFL prospects, and I feel if I go down there, I think I can make an impact like Mark Ingram did in the SEC."

The SEC is a big pull for him. The fact we are the only SEC team left in his top 6 is big, imo.

ive seen that qoute before. again, that is only one qoute. how many good qoutes did we hear from Worley but we are begining to think that that ship has sailed?

im not saying its not a good indicator. but i feel uneasy knowing that we are the only SEC school in a bunch of local schools when supposedly playing in the SEC is all important. just MO. but then again, we are his only SEC offer so maybe that will have a pull on its own...

but what happens if another SEC school offers? does the landscape change?

I don't think many other SEC schools that would give us problems would be going after him at this point. Too many other big fish to fry.

LSU already has Hilliard committed, and 'Bama, UGA, UF, and Auburn are all battling over guys like Crowell, Hart, and Blakely.

We also have a rather thin stable of backs in comparison to those schools, so I'd think we're in good shape there if a stacked depth chart is a concern to Hayes.
