'11 MI RB Justice Hayes

This guy is probably the number one guy on our RB board, pulling him would only help in our attempt to get DJ.

LV, I saw where you mentioned the fact that he has never seen UT before and we are still in his top 3, is it possible that if he really enjoys his visit we could get a commitment or is he nowhere close yet? TIA

Since we're all but out of it for Crowell, Hayes is now #1 on my "legit UT RB prospect" board.

Pulling him and Arnett out of Michigan would be a sweet, sweet combo deal and show UT can still recruit anywhere.

BTW, Baggett mentioned to Hayes that he wouldn't mind seeing him as a slot receiver instead of a RB. May have just been talk, but from his film he is a very solid receiver out of the backfield.

FWIW on scout he has Notre Dame and Michigan state listed as high and us as medium

dont think thats "worth" a whole lot. and even if its true, that should be expected. hes from way up north and has not even visited yet. give it time.

Four-star RB Justice Hayes of Michigan tells ESPN.com's Bill Kurelic, writing for ESPN affiliate SpartanTailgate.com, that he is down to six schools: Tennessee, Iowa, Notre Dame, Michigan, Michigan State and Northwestern (that's the order he listed them).

Hayes has backed off his original plan to decide this summer, and in fact will not even take officials until after the season. He has taken unofficials to all except Tennessee, which he plans to hit before the end of the month. He did say, however, that he might narrow his list further, to four schools, before the season.

In his ESPN.com blog, Kurelic writes: "Picking a favorite for Hayes at this point is pretty difficult, but it seems safe to say the Wolverines and Spartans don't trail anyone."

If Michigan lands four-star Demetrius Hart of Florida, which we told you earlier seems a good possibility, then that may eliminate the Wolverines. The Spartans currently have another in-state RB committed in three-star Onaje Miller, who is the same size as Hayes but who Scouts, Inc., likes as a CB.

FWIW on the espn rumor mill, it was posted that it would probably be a michigan/michigan state battle for hayes. So if they call this the way they did the Worley situation, Hayes is already the starting tailback at UT.
