'11 MI WR DeAnthony Arnett - UT Commit

Arnett will not leave, as long as Baggett stays we are fine. He loves Baggett and Dooley. NSD he will sign as a vol

Michigan has offered him up to 6 mil reportedly. No NFL team will pay that for someone who hasnt been a HC in the NFL yet.

Dolphins reportedly offered 8 million. Michigan will not pay him 6 million a year.

Arnett is All Vol. As long as Baggett and Dooley are here, Arnett will be here.

Harbaugh will be coaching the 49ers or the Dolphins next year. If he stays in college he may stay at Stanford 1 more year with Luck coming back.

Harbaugh to michigan would be a career killer, the fans have unrealistic expectations, there is no defensive talent what so ever, and the team is set up to run the spread

It would take 4 years of recruiting for Harbaugh to make Michigan into the Michigan of old, why do that when you can go to the NFL, where even if you fail you can have a good college job waiting for you

I agree with this.

Whats up with luck staying. If he has a career ending injury, that could be the biggest story of '11.

I agree. But maybe it's not ALL about the money to him.

You can always go finish your degree after your career. With how ridiculous rookie money has gotten in the NFL, it's hard to say that staging is the best choice now. His family would be set for generations.

So volnation has reached a new level, we are worried about losing a recruit over a S&C coach....

If Arnett De-commits, i'll lose zero :snoring: over it. (i hope he's not reading this. losing him could be devastating.)

Yep. I've never, ever, ever heard a recruit say I chose team X because their S&C coach is such a cool guy and a great coach. I don't know if recruits even meet S&C guys on their visits. If all we lose this yr is a S&C guy (dime a dozen), then I'm thrilled!

He will not leave over Wylie. He might make him stronger but he wont make him be a better wide receiver.....Baggett will take care of that. RELAX

I agree that the S&C coach is down the list as far as recruiting goes. However, I feel like the position is being devalued some. They spend more time with the players than any other coach, and their program is a crucial part of their development. Johnny Long's mismanagement of the position is one of the reasons UT fell so far.

True. I think it's valuable to the team, but I don't think it means a whole lot in recruiting.

Losing Arnett would be a huge loss, the guy is a player and with some physical development he will get playing time and compete for a starting job

Arnett is not wavering at all. Check out all the pics from the AA game. He is always decked out in all UT gear and is even wearing orange shoelaces in practice.

As if losing 1 WR makes our class bad? Whatever, we have our starting WRs for atleast 2 more years.

They aren't the leaders that Moore and jones were. Will be better, but they are still young and behind them.... There is a bad drop off. Jones and Moore had hunter and Rogers .....
