I understand where you are coming from, but you don't become as talented as he is without putting hours upon hours of blood, sweat, and tears into the game of sport. And 9 times out of 10 what pushes someone to do that is the dream that one day they will be a professional athlete. You are right that it may not be all about the money, but being able to call yourself a professional athlete is, for many of these guys, a personal achievement that is equally as important as $ signs. Especially if you already come from money like Luck does.

Unlike a lot of guys, Luck and his family don't need the money and rookie money probably won't be the same by the time next year rolls around. More than likely they are going to restructure the rookie signing situation.

Love the fact that our biggest competition for him was USC. You know that it pisses Kiffin and Coach O off that we got him.

Have you seen all the Dooley to LSU crap popping up today?

Yesterday it was Johnson will decommit when CCS leaves for UF...before that it was Williams will decommit for UF even though he has told Muschamp himself he's not interested...

I've accepted the fact that some posters are going to look for anything to worry about...especially this close to NSD

Dooley isn't going anywhere. Arnett isn't going anywhere.

Worrying is like a rocking chair. It gives you something to do but you never get anywhere.

It's been a rough few years. Take it easy on the Vol faithful. This time last year we had a coach leave in the middle of the night and this year we had two games end in victories and eventually end in losses.

Important to remember that in these All-Star type games, the important thing is the practices. That's where scouting services do their evaluating. You can't expect a team (especially an offense) to click with little experience. DeAnthony had a great week.
