#11 Michigan vs #17 Florida 3:30et ABC

I don't understand how Florida can go so many years without good QB play considering the fertile recruiting grounds of their home state. LSU has had the same problems.

So what do you guys think about these two teams as far as the national picture? Michigan DLine and kicker have looked good but I haven't been really impressed with either team. Could just be first game struggles though.

I believe Michigan will improve when that defense gets more experience. By seasons end they will be a 10-11 game winner. That will put them in the playoff picture. It is common for defense to be ahead of offenses this early. So with their running game they will succeed in the Big 10. As for Florida I also think think their offense will be much better a couple games in. However they have to improve slit to make noise. This looks like what they are expected 7-9 win team. So they will be in contention for SEC east at best.

Stagnant, vanilla, boring, zero dynamics. Where's that vaunted attack that Jaws was raving about?

The defense still looks good, but not elite like the past few seasons. Not a good first impression that I'm seeing from this year's Gator team.

That same side of the gator defense is very vulnerable to the run unless Shannon gets them help.

I would just stick with Franks, take my lumps with him as he seems to have all the tools to be a good QB. He just needs experience, and you can't get that on the sidelines.

It's perplexing. Lot of great QBs come out of both states. My only guess is OC and QB coaching.

UM just broke 2 tackles on that same side, a shoe string got him down.

I am not pulling for UF, but I really don't want to hear about how great Michigan must be all week long.
