#11 Michigan vs #17 Florida 3:30et ABC

If Zaire is Florida's best option, it's going to be a long, glorious season for Florida. He makes Treon Harris look like a Heisman candidate.

Mercifully, it ends.

The lack of offense is just so discouraging. But I guess not entirely unexpected.

Yes...ten suspended players and we're playing Michigan. We never beat Michigan.

Was hoping we'd ride or die with Franks for 4 quarters.

Zaire is hot garbage. I freaking hate Zaire.

I think you are taking this in good stride, and on a message board these days... that is a hard thing to come by... very much appreciate that. :hi:

The defense still looks pretty damn good if you ask me, looked like they were getting tired in the 4th, but I still think Florida wins quite a few games even with the struggles on the offense.

It's one game, so I don't want to project to week 3, but this was an abysmal performance by Florida. O-line was a walking turnstile.

Gatorcountry is in meltdown mode which is always fun to see but we should keep things in perspective. Florida will get Callaway and Scarlett back and that should make a big difference. Michigan may be inexperience on defense but we know how well Harbaugh has recruited. Gary is a beast. I expect another tight one with Florida this year... We will need some turnovers to win. Hopefully they cooperate like they did today.

Defense was solid to elite in first half. Outside of that, not much else went well for UF.

Don't get me wrong it was kind of a beat down in a way, I still think Florida is going to win plenty of games... probably not enough offense to keep up in a few games but the defense should be good enough to keep them in the mix.

I kind of agree with Lawrence said about their offense (in another thread) being the same for the last 5 year. Hey, I watch LSU and its no secret they have struggled against some tougher defenses, the thing is... I can at least see and understand what LSU is trying to do... whether they are struggling or dominating. Florida offense its really hard to even figure out what they are trying to do even when they dominate other teams.

I'm not throwing rocks, I think Lawrence has been a real stand up guy by coming in here. LSU will be playing later and who knows if their new offense throw an egg (0). :) I'm certainly not going to throw rocks until after LSU plays Bama. :)
