There is a little discrepancy between the weights/heights on Scout/Rivals and what this guy reported;

OT Jonah Austin (New Orleans/St. Augustine) is on his way to visit Tennessee. Texas Tech also now recruiting. 6-7,335

Not a bad offer list. I'll enjoy hearing what the report is on him after the camp, if he participates.

I think we might depending on what he shows at camp. Looks like he could be a huge Guard and that's what we need.

If he impresses somewhat you can gurantee they'd take his committment. He could anchor the whole left side by himself. We could really really use his size.

I just asked Josh and he said that Jonah has an offer.

Arkansas and Kentucky are his other favorites.
Was not aware of that. I guess if he shows up at camp then yeah I could then see them take his committment. I think we could have 4 to 5 committments by the weekend.

three or four years, have him at left guard, AR at LT... Crowder at center, Posey or Fulton at RG, Kerbyson or Stone at RT...the makings of a stellar line (one would hope)

You can tell immediately that he is player out of position at LT. He's not quick enough for that position.

But he looks huge, strong, and mean which is exactly what you want at Guard.

Forgot to add James in there. Think about the talent and depth we would have on our OL.

Definitely looks big and strong, but foot-speed and quickness are definitely lacking. Even if he gets moved to OG, he'll still need to be able to pull.

We already know that Wylie can get 'em bigger and stronger. If we take this guy, we'll get to see how good Wylie is at improving foot-speed/quickness/agility/coordination/etc.

I think I'd still rather take West/Walsh/Robinson at OG before this guy (and probably in that order).

We need another offensive tackle. Who on our board projects to be a tackle at the next level?

"During his tenure at Illinois, Hiestand tutored 12 all-Big Ten selections on the offensive line. Every senior starting offensive linemen in Hiestand's first seven years with the Illini was signed to an NFL contract."

Richardson and Kerbyson fo sho and Clear depending on how he grows. And we are sitting pretty with all 3 of them at Tackle.

We need another Guard to go along with Posey. Looks like Walsh, West, and Austin are our top candidates. atm.
