12-16, 172 yards, 3 tds, 33 yards rushing with 9:42 left to play in the first half. I recall a certain poster all summer long saying Kelly wasn't that good and only killed it last year because of the Treadwell. He's doing this with 5 new OL starters and no Laquon. The kid is very good.

Heisman font runner imo . No one else has had this type of game in week one against a meaningful opponent

OK. We choose to look at it differently. Dobbs is a 60% career passer getting no help from the wrs and negative help from the oline. He gets enough to them for one to make a play. The other td Kelly didn't get it to the wr, but he made a play. Our wrs need to do that.

60% is not good regardless. Also, even wide open receivers he doesn't hit in stride. The josh smith pass the other day was a prime example. Love Dobbs as a leader/runner, not as a passer

Tennessee has a couple good players, a few that don't have the killer instinct and a coaching staff that has no clue how to handle top recruits or take lesser players and make them good. Throw in a geriatric OC who must have alzheimers because he can only remember 3 plays and you get what you saw Thursday night.

Compare that to Ole Miss and Bama's first week showing.

If you make the most progress between week one and two then we are doomed because these teams are already world beaters.
