I don't see it... Rivals does not even have UT listed as a contender, no less the favorite. It actually says Miami is leading... I dunno... Prove me wrong...

Or, kind of like the kid is a junior, not a freshman and there's a solid quote saying UT is the leader and he wants to make a commitment soon.

So, yes, this is completely like the Tony Wroten situation.

I'm not saying the kid is ours or anything, but Wroten was a freshman from Washington[/B and made a passing comment. This is a junior from Georgia with solid interest. It's a much different deal.

It is a much different deal. Unless you have a personal vendetta that requires you to post imbecilic jabs at coach who could care less you exist, all the while doing it under anonymity.

On topic - He's not to far away. Has anyone seen him play?

Bit of a different situation. 1) kid isn't an 8th grader. 2) we have recruted very successfully in Georgia over the past couple years.

The description I got from another site is extremely athletic, solid defender, especially in the open court, good handle and an average shooter, a legit PG. Sounds good to me, without having seen him on film. As a PG, the weak shooter part doesn't bother me as much, so we'll have to see about the kid.

TOS has Ware quoted today that he might commit very soon, specifically to Tennessee. If so, great pick-up. Rivals has him as a five star, #22 in the nation for 2011. It appears this could be further justification for the Atlanta connection over Memphis. Could be a third kid from the Atlanta Celtics, too.

Would be huge to get a 5 star point who is 6'4, WOW! Pearl is a coach whjo can connect with kids on a down to earth level. Memphis can keep their guys, lets go beat em in Memphis this year and send a message!

If this offseason taught us anything, it's that "commitments" don't mean squat until the ink on the LOI is dry.

Well, McRae stuck and he was part of the same AAU team, an Adidas kid, like Ware. I did say "if", but a potential Ware commitment seems like it would be a little more solid than Selby or Craft. Much better connections and not much to worry about a local school's pull.

Nothing against this guy, I hope Tennessee lands him, but you guys should really just forget that Rivals covers basketball recruiting.
