Great get, but can we hold on to him?

I know after the Selby debacle everyone is on edge about early committs and all that. And its understandable. But I'm hoping that it was a one-time thing and no big deal.

Hopefully we can keep him committed for the next 12 months before he can sign. I don't want another Selby debacle.

I think this guy is a different deal than Selby. Decommits aren't all that common, even though we got screwed this past year. Plus, we have much stronger connections throught the AAU team and have two of his buddies about to sign. His comments lead me to believe he's also more stable than Selby and his mom, not one to have their hand out once the hype gets going. Considering the kid is already a 5-star, I have to think that issue has already been addressed, as opposed to Selby, who blew up in the Spring after commiting to us.

That pretty well takes care of the backcourt for a while. Now, it's imperative to add some size.

He's really good. You win SEC titles with players like Ware. Tennessee is on a number of lists for big guys, but it's still a bit early to assess their chances. Things will be much clearer after the summer.

Well, McRae stuck and he was part of the same AAU team, an Adidas kid, like Ware. I did say "if", but a potential Ware commitment seems like it would be a little more solid than Selby or Craft. Much better connections and not much to worry about a local school's pull.

If we can make a pipe in the ATL celts its HUGE they have so many studs come out of there teams for ex.pepole in the nba Dwight Howard,Josh Smith.Get something going with them our classes are gonna look a whole lot better.

Yeah, kind of like we were the leader for Tony Wroten.

Awesome insight...So we do not get Kevin Ware and Jim Calhoun gets Tobias Harris...maybe needs a little less Zagsblog and a few more steak dinners purchased from Atlanta Celtics coaches...
