'11 SC QB Everett Golson

This may be a silly question as the kid seems to be highly sought after but with the way Bray played last night, Worley on the way and Nance...can we afford to take another QB in this class?

If Simms transfers then yes. Especially Goldson. He's the type on QB you make room for even if you're loaded at QB.

I think we should take this guy either way. I think a few players will be leaving after this season. Even though Simms will stick around. IMO Doak Raulston is better than Nance.

No we don't. Way too many needs on the defense to close out this class and two more guys on the O-line.

Maybe we can afford to take 2 QBs next year - but we badly need DTs/CBs/LBs/TEs/Olinemen in this class.

We don't need two more OL (unless you're counting clear as an OL.) EG is a special QB. Tell Devrin Young to greyshirt, tell someone to "look around", do SOMETHING to get him here if he wants to be here.

Yeah I'm counting Clear - and just look at how many spots we have - and what we still need - and some of the big time guys we are in. Young is the only possibility - but don't see that happening.

We have what the coaches think will be a great QB for us - if they are comfortable with Bray and Worley they'll probably feel that the spot is better used on some JUCO CB or something to help out the miserable secondary - which has no depth.

I would be disappointed if they took another qb. I feel like bray is the real deal and Worley will be next in line. We need corner backs, d-linemen, and better linebackers before we need another back up qb.

Good for him. North Carolina is sinking fast. Wish we could get in on some of their recruits.
