No? You wanna bust people's heads open who dare come across the middle of the field?

There's your answer.

per Farrell when asked if Martin would keep the 4*:

Correct Sir. Pat Martin kept his 4* status but barely. He is a 4* at #22 Safety, but that was the cutoff. The #23 Safety was a 3*. Other notables was Brian Randolph at #32 Safety and he remained a 3*. Also Cortez Davis at #14 and Geraldo Orta all the way down at #57.

As you evaluate the number changes and rankings over the last few days only one thing is for certain.

Its put together by a committee.

Pat, do you think you could ever be friends with a Florida Gator?

We'll take that as a no. I know we're running out of time here so we'll ask one more question...where do you see Tennessee being ranked at the end of the 2011-2012 season?

Pat Martin has worked the phones harder than Jacques or Corey did a year ago.
-Hubbs.

Pat Martin could very well have a job as a recruiting cordinator after his football career is over. He has been relentless all year for us on the recruiting trail. Calling recruits, texting recruits, facebooking, etc. I think it is crazy to think that he persuaded many of our current commitments to come to UT, but he isn't guaranteed to make it in until he gets a better test score. Regardless congratulation to Pat for being our recruiter of the year.

I didn't mean it like he actually landed any of our other recruits. The coaches are the ones who actually go out and recruit the prospects to attend UT. I meant more like Martin helped land some prospects by persuading them to come to UT with him and try to do something special here.

He has attempted to get many other highly rated prospects to join him at UT:

"Me and DeAnthony text," Martin said. "I text with (Alan) Posey and Vincent Dallas and Gabe Wright. I've been working on Gabe and LaTeek Townsend. He's trying to set up a visit the same weekend I visit Tennessee. Hopefully we can change his mind and get him to come to Tennessee."

I am excited about this kid. I hope we can get him here and right to work with Coach Joseph. Love the way he wraps up when he tackles.

I'm glad Pat is recruiting for us. I just hope he takes time to study and gets that score up.
