Our coaches are going to watch a lot of kids that have no chance of getting an offer. It's about building relationships with the coaches and looking for possible underclassmen. Plus the recruit could have made huge strides between the end of last season and the beginning of spring practice.

At Harriman....yeah ok, give me a break. The next time Harriman has a legit SEC prospect the coach that is there now will be long gone.

He will have a hard time playing at Tech

How are these schools finding out about this kid? High school coach sending tapes to watch?? It doesn't look like he has been picked up by any of the recruiting sites such as rivals, scout, etc,....

Im not hating on the kid by anymeans. Im just being realistic. Harriman plays in a weak A region and im just not impressed by him. Match him up with some other D-1 talents and see how he plays. From what I have seen on him he is less that scholarship worthy.

There are rumors going around that an Alabama scout will be at the Harriman v. Kingston game this year.

Maybe Carlos heard these rumors and thought that it meant they offered Shaq. :dunno:

I don't know what kind of program harriman has and i don't care but that doesn't change the fact the coaches are building relationships with the coaches and town.

Harriman does not have anything close to a program with the ability to produce D1 talent...

You can't coach size.

If he's an athletic big guy, he'll get offers regardless of his high school.

I'm not saying Love is any good, but just because Harriman is in podunk Tennessee doesn't really mean squat to college coaches.

Copeland, Jermaine

Harriman High School

Class of 1995

I never will forget a night I was watching a game from the seemingly talentless XFL when Copeland merked the competition for 16 cathes. It's a shame he never got on with an NFL team.
