Anything new on this cat? I was under the impression that the staff was really interested in him. With our offensive lineman need I figured he might get a harder look. Any chance the staff offers him? Thanks!

I highly doubt he will get an offer.

With our recent OLine Commitments I figured that it would be tough. I'd like to see the staff take about 5 Offensive Lineman this year. It seems as though the 2011 class in heavy on Offensive Lineman.

Not only that, he's not as good as his offers indicate. Most of his offers are based on his size. (no homo)

We'll stick with 4 or 5, but 2012 looks like another good year for OL. Will be a position of strength for Vols very soon.

He blew our line up all night long. But he still plays for Harriman.

33-15 Kingston

Now you know there would be some Losses for Kingston if Harriman played Kingston later on in the season and not the first game where the depth of a larger school takes over. Atleast if you know your history between the rivalry the last 18 seasons you would know that so don't carry on that it is just Harriman. Jermaine Copeland years and mine from 96 to 2000 if we had played Kingston mid season the outcome in many games would have been different.

Excuses, excuses, it's still been 17 years.

Oh it has been a long time but many teams that actually beat Kingston during the year each season in the past we would beat as well so I know the rivalry would be much stronger if th game was moved...imo

I don't see how you could think Harriman would be any better in the middle of the season. Injuries happen and they were dropping like flies tonight.

Exactly my point. Depth at Harriman has always been an issue. They usually don't even have 30 players. Back in the day I played we would show up with 30 players and kingston has over a 100 players. I know that has changed sinc then but when a Harriman starter goes down there is no replacing them.

Exactly, they wouldn't have any players by the middle of the season.

What always got us was the cramps from the heat and it being the first game and not used to it. It wasn't injuries. So again when someone went down there was no replacing but we rarely had these issues mid season or later is all I'm saying.

I see what you're saying. I don't know, I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

Well I don't know how good Harriman is this year but I heard they scrimmaged Alcoa in a 3 to 2 game but again it is a scrimmage so when I speak I can only speak of the years I watched Jermaine and the years I played and a few othr games I have watched through the years....
