maybe we just see different things...but I watch film extensively and Young is the most explosive player in the state...regardless of class and a nationally ranked player...(he will also be ranked by rivals nationally.......Sensabaugh is good...and in any normal year he would be a top 5 player....but the 2011 class instate ....may be the best ever...

Sensabaugh may translate better to an LB......Chris is a top 10-15 player in 2011 class...Devrin is a top 5 talent.....

The only reason Chris didn't make first string is because he missed three games....and still had close to Devrin's stats...Chris will be better in college IMO...

Devrin was all state 1st team in 5A as well......no chris didnt make 1st team because devrin is better.....I mean your talking about a nationally ranked player...one of the top players nationally in 2011 class

Chris may be the better college player......that is hypothetical....but right now........devrin is better.....

He had over 300 All Purpose Yards against DB......

we will see how it plays out......

Maybe Sensabaugh just has the hype machine behind him. He's the more well-known prospect in East TN. I'm not discrediting Devrin Young. He's going to be a very good player. I just believe Sensabaugh is the better player at this point. I stress that "at this point", because, in the future, Young might be the better player. I just don't see it like that at this point in time.

how can Sensabaugh be the more known prospect in E. TN....when Devrin is known nationally?...along with A.Richardson, J. Washington, A. Gibson....

I dont get that....please explain...thanks!

Devrin played more games than Chris did....Chris is ridiculously hard to take down...he never had a bad game...but ok.

Maybe I hang out with too many D-B fans.

But, in East Tennessee, you're more likely to get more of a response for Sensabaugh, instead of Young. No disrespect intended.

I dont think it makes a difference who played more games.....Chris runs too high......thus he takes alot of punishment...thus the injuries...that is why I think his best position could be LB at next level......

both are really good.....but one is nationally elite...and one is one of the best in TN......

Chris has so many bloodlines too. Gerald Sensabaugh, his cousin, plays for the Dallas Cowboys, and Cody, another cousin, is at Clemson playing ball. Chris could very well be the next best thing. Also, one of the reasons that I think Devrin is getting more attention is because he is in Knoxville...in the midst of this debate blur, I have watched your videos on youtube and enjoy them :hi:

I'm going to take blur's word that Young is the better player. But I'm from East Tennessee (and do not hang out with DB fans) and I had never heard the name Devrin Young till 2 days ago. But I have been hearing about Chris Sensabaugh for 3 years...

no not at this point........however....Alabama has inquired...South Carolina has requested film....so has Baylor..and I think Arizona State...Arizona......Washington......alot of schools...

I'm surprised they offered the kid @ Glenville and not Devrin.......he is smaller and Devrin is in your own backyard and can give you everything...that kid can and more.....

Could it be in an effort to create a pipeline to Glenville. It's, arguably, one of the best schools in the country in terms of producing talent. Has Shane Wynn even been offered though? On rivals it does not show any offers.

I understand the concept of trying to get into Glenville......and Wynn does have an offer....but to not offer D. Young...and he is in your backyard is very surprising at this point....regardless of the pipeline....you just dont pass up talents like that.....especially one right under your nose...
