Also Flint the OL from Oxford has knee problems in both knees and teams seem to be really worried about his weight.

The once talked about Oxford Trio is now the forgotten trio. Sort of sad in a way and hopefully they will fond success wherever ther end up.

I also think Elston ends up a UCF at this point.

A guy on TOS went to the Alabama/Mississippi All-Star game today & said Elston looked fully healthy, said he was cutting & running fine. They had him playing saftey & returning punts.

The guy also said his sone was working one of the cameras & had on a Tennessee Power "T" hat & Elston turned to him & gave him a thumbs up.

If healthy then we need to lock him up along with Otis Jacobs. Both would make a huge impact impact in defensive backfield for us imo.

Keith Niebuhr of Rivals was at the practices all week & game today, I asked him how Elston looked. He said in his opinion he looked "so-so".

I would say at this point it would be safe to assume that we have moved on recruiting elsewhere.

I think his situation really depends on his injury. It may not be all that bad and someone would be getting a steal or it could be as bad as some think and a huge risk.

I don't know man. Everyone I know in Oxford said he was going to commit to Tennessee at the Alabama-Mississippi game. Haven't heard much since then. I think what TW was saying about his knee might make him a backup option.

A real bummer about his injury. It would be nice to have him in Knoxville but if all these teams are backing off it must be for good reason. Hate it for the kid.

Elston is dead set on play WR in college & thats probably why Tennessee has backed off along w/ a few other colleges & the reason Okie State & UCF have entered the picture for him.

WTH is on his mind. He's a DB. He's a much better DB prospect than WR. At WR all he ever runs are deep routes. His ball skills look so much better at DB. Okie St. will turn him into a DB.

When all else fails..just lie to them. It seems like a lot of these kids just want somebody to lie to them. And they fall for it a lot.

You know that is complete BS, this kid never even practices at WR at Okie st. That is one of the biggest loads of crap that has been told to a kid. They have absolutely no intention of playing him at WR. If he is dumb enough to believe that, we probably don't need him.
