'12 AL S Trae Elston

Ok, sorry I misinterpreted your previous post since you qouted OCI I took it as comparing OCI to thedooley from last year since he made the BMOORE to Miami comment. After rereading it I realized it was more of a shot at 247. Thanks for answering, that makes much more sense.

yeah a little sarcasm. 247 struggles with accurate reports most of the time it seems.

All the 247-mongering drove me off GVX...and into VolNation's loving tendrils.

He's an SEC kid. UCF just got Auburn's defensive coordinator. But no one would want to play for that moron.

I'm thinking about getting one for vq. Should or waste Of money

I've been using VQ for a while and I'm currently on free trials with scout and 247. I'd say VQ is the best. I really just used the free trials to check out some highlight vids I couldn't find anywhere else

Our staff will not lose a battle to ucf for a kid not from there.

OSU is more worrisome bc he could catch much less scorn from folks were he is from by being a poke.

I think this kid and landon collins are both still in play though I expect collins at lsu.

In february anyone doubting the staff in recruiting will look like a fool.

Dooley will be 1 class away from a deep and talented team.

This is why we just need to give Dooley time to cycle out ALL of the Fulmer and Kiffin kids. That's why i'm kind of glad to see these seniors go. Only Austin Johnson and Malik(who transferred when Dooley got here) seemed to really be 100 percent into everything Dooley was trying to do.

We need 4 years of guys committed to 1 guy. Dooley.

UT may have cooled on this kid. Something is not right IMO with the situation. UA and AU both passed on a top talent from the state. Next Clemson passed on him. Among other SEC schools that are no longer chasing him. Now he is looking outside the conference. OSU seems to me a chase on his part. Everytime a major program moves on he decides to chase another top program.

Again for those that have followed his recruitment he was tab as part of the great Oxford Trio and is scheduled to play in the Under Armor game. Ask yourself this. When is the last time UA and AU passed on an instate All-American, especially in a position that both teams really need to be filled?

OCI just stated a couple of days ago that we have not cooled on Elston. Im hoping thats the case because I really want him to be apart of this class for Tennessee.

UA does not need top, All-American DBs. Sorry. We'll take one, though.

But, you do make a good point. Almost all SEC schools, besides us, are out of his top schools. That just doesn't make sense, at least in this conference.

We need a few this year. Hopefully we finish with G Smith, E Williams, and add L Collins plus Dixon. If that is the case you guys can have Elston. No complaints here.:)

I just do not know why so many passed on him unless he just waited to long to jump onboard and teams moved on.

I am hearing he has played all season with a partial tear in his knee and why teams are passing on him. Because they were not sure how bad it was and he was telling them that it healed. In the playoffs apparantly he reinjured it and it got worse. Again got this from a poster who lives in that area and the timing makes sense now.

Maybe CDD just found out about the injury was worse than he was telling people and now has moved on when it appears that he may now need surgery.

Sounds like a greyshirt candidate to me.
