“Coach Lance Thompson is really trying to get me up there,” he said. “He told me they really need some DBs. He said I am one of their top prospects on the board, and they really want me.

“I like Tennessee. I had a cousin who went there. I originally liked Tennessee because of Lane Kiffin. He left, but coach Dooley seems like a cool coach. I am going to go up there this summer for an unofficial visit."

Clemson is still the team on top.

After Clemson, Elston likes the following programs in order: LSU, Miami, Alabama, Oregon and Auburn. Tennessee, which was part of his top five recently, no longer is. But Elston said the Vols are still being seriously considered.

"I'm going to wait until signing day," Elston said.
