Taylor picked up a Tennessee offer today.

He holds offers from pretty much everyone in the country including Bama, Florida, FSU, LSU, UGA, Miami, Notre Dame, Penn St, and UNC.

Grew up a Penn St. fan

Fortunately for Penn State, he grew up a Nittany Lion fan.

"This is the most exciting offer I've ever gotten," said Taylor. "I've been a Penn State fan ever since I was little. Will I go there? I don't necessarily know yet, but this is the most exciting offer I ever got."

"I'm going March 26 to Penn State for their junior day," said Taylor. "I'm actually going to fly there and meet my brother. He lives in Bloomsburg, Pennsylania and goes to Bloomsburg University."

Very late on this one. Shame because of our huge void at TE. Has family near Penn State, brother goes to Bloomsburg which my brother goes to and is about 45 mins East of Penn State. A major critique I have of Dooley is he seems to be late on offering elite prospects.

Yet he was the first to offer Taylor and Deloach, and has beaten UF, Bama, and UGA to numerous other recruits. He's been late on some and out in front on others. No one will ever be the first to offer everyone. Beat UF on every FL guy we signed last year, including Mo Couch.

I'm just saying in general. I think Maggitt had an offer from Florida before we gave him one. And the other guys from Florida, it wasn't until Muschamp got there that they wanted any of them. Florida may have wanted Tom Smith, but they already had a top 5 RB in Mike Blakely committed to them.

Dooley landed Maggitt, so I don't see how that hurt our position with him.

Sounds to me like you are looking for a reason to fuss a dollEy for something. He isn't the 1st on every target but he is way out in front on others. Plus with the ability he has to close I don't think it is as big a deal.

The one thing everybody can agree on with Dooley is his presence with families. We will always have good Januarys with Dooley because he is the best when it comes to in home visits.

He'll leave Fl and head to a Big 10 school...PSU,tOSU,ND and Wisc usually find their way into his top schools when he does talk football.

IMO JW is future All SEC....kid was one of the first kids that got a post Meyer offer so that says something about his talent. From the film and live game I believe that Saulsberry will be solid but too much of a tweener...UT will get some good reps but not enough of a DT or DE to be a starter.
