Is that really why he was only a 2star for a day? wow

That's what is fishy about it. Hubbs was confused when I looked on there earlier. Rivals definitely doesn't look credible when they rank a player, and then Keith Neibur (spelling?) say he was in the players we had to re-rank. Why would you put him in the list of players to re-rank when you just evaluated him and ranked him a day ago? Makes no sense.

Well said SPED especially the 2nd sentence to the end.
Please make a separate thread just for you two to go back and forth so we do not have to sort through this. Obviously, there are no legitimate insiders outside of Skeeter, so how about we stop acting like there is some bull**** hierarchy of posters and get back to the recruiting forum.

So Khalid Henderson?

as mentioned earlier... you're trying very hard to be a jerk... just let it go.

why do you even come to this board?

So what you think of Henderson? and by the way last I checked my name was mentioned so I responded.

mixed thoughts on Henderson..... it's hard to tell much from his video. I do like the guys that are solid commits early on. My final verdict is I'll deem him worthy if he can be an EE, and get that important spring practice with the team. If not then, atm, I'm leaning toward 'wish we had took someone else'.

Glad you aren't a coach then. Please just stick to stalking recruits' twitter accounts and leave the talent evaluation to people who know how to do it.

Sometimes you have to take what you can get. It's not like we have 10 4 star backers waiting to commit upon the chance. CDD is taking who he thinks will be able to compete. When your having to pick 2nd and 3rd tier players...it's going to be tough.

Depending on which service you want to use to legitimize the pick ups, he is a 4 star on ESPN. By all means though, continue to nit pick and complain constantly in every thread in the recruiting forum.

Fyi...

i was told to hold off on the full eval until aug. I like him quite a bit.

Pre-determined by those above me, we are not giving any new 3-stars until late august. So rather than give him a 2 now (which imo i don't think he is)we're leaving him nr until aug.

It was my mistake putting a 2 next to him. I misunderstood my directions.

Please blame me for that.

This might not make much sense, but come aug. It could be a good thing.

Keith niebuhr

Sounds to me like he's a lock for at least 3*, as he should be.

No question...from what Niebuhr has said about him in the past I would guess a 5.7...they seem to be hung up on his size...even though 11 of the 28 OLB 4*'s they have are the same size or smaller

Does it matter? It is just a star. Does it change him as a player?

It changes the perception of our incoming class/program by uncommitted recruits. Recruits want to invest their talents in a rising stock.

He is 6'2" and 215 lbs. that's not bad. Is this his most current weight? This kid could easily put on 10-15 lbs over his senior year.

Fortenberry said Henderson was 6'1.5" 207lbs at our camp in June...that was barefoot with gym clothes on

So he is .5" off in height and 8 lbs lighter in weight? That's not that big a deal to me. He could easily put on 10-15 lbs over his senior.

I was just reviewing his highlight film. He isn't the fastest guy on earth, but man he makes up the speed issue with some serious tenacity. If Khalid hits you ... you feel it. Santos + Henderson = Nightmare for any offensive skill positions.

I played QB in high school. I played at 6'3 205. I could take hits, but I knew when I got the pi$$ knocked out of me ... lol. These two are as mean as they come.

Im glad we have Mr. Henderson, now lets get Santos!!

I hate to get this discussion started, but even assuming the 6'2 215 (which I think may be a little embellished) that Jmo put in the OP, could Henderson possibly be a Safety or is he definitely an outside linebacker

He has the body type to add some weight. This guy is an athlete and has a lot of upside. Hasn't concentrated on LB yet in high school but that will probably change this year. Not saying he will be the next Little, Wilson or Mayo, but don't discount him. I'm just as excited about him, as I am about Peters and Santos.
