ok I will be "that guy" . 7 Tkls in a HS game is not what we're looking for at UT. I don't care if you play 8A ball in Southern South "Texoridafornia"(made that up on my own...YIKES thats bad) ....and he doesn't. I trust CLT but CHarris is a at least a serviceable LB, at least ! (only for comparison sake) Khalid needs to step his game up !

Depends on how bad the offense is. More offensive plays=more opportunities for tackles. More 3 and outs and turnovers= less opportunities for tackles.

You guys are killing me with the speed stuff. 4.7 is plenty fast for a LB. Reaction speed is much more important. This guy is a good player. I think it is his first year as a full time LB so he will only get better.

If you're doing that then you've already gotten beat on the play. 4.7 is plenty fast to chase a guy across the field as you'll typically have the angle advantage.

Not necessarily.


You must be able to help out on plays out of your area. We had some of the fastest LBs in the league during the 90s. I'm not disagreeing with you. 4.7 is OK speed but it's not blazing for a LB.
