Back to Khalid. Needs a year to gain weight for SEC imo. I understand his speed is key for the pursuit of the ball but he hasn't been pursued from any other SEC schools that I am aware of. No reason to believe he will have some breakout freshmen campaign, stop hyping up players. He can be a very good player for us after a RS.
Jmoore.. do we leave the door open on this one perhaps .. I.e. if he isn't 100% vol then move on to more talent.. or do we fight for this one?
IMO we will keep him. The staff wouldnt have took his commitment over the summer right after he performed at our camp if they didnt think he was an SEC caliber OLB. B/c at the time we took his commitment we still had "higher" (as most of us on VN thought were higher) targets on the board.
I remember back in this thread and others where people were bashing the coaches, and their reasoning was, "Every coach knows about these "hidden" players that do not get much recognition." Well, apparently some SEC teams didn't as Henderson is gaining interest from UGA and Ole Miss. Let the coaches recruit.

That's generally the case with 3 star or below talent. So may come in and make an immediate contribution, but rarely. Next year is more of a case of utilizing juniors, sophmores, JUCO's, and some redshirt freshman. Some of the higher ranked guys coming in as freshmen maybe used to spell some guys, but that's about it. Still, I'm expecting a better season with a more favorable schedule.
