Cuttin a kid with options loose, is different than lying thru your teeth to the bitter end.

A lie is a lie! It doesn't matter when its made. You keep making your jokes about him getting pushed off the train and while your at it why don't you wish he gets hurt so he won't be a good player. I choose to believe he is a human being that was lied to!

I have a bad habit of never reading a kids thread after he commits...Can someone give me the cliff notes about this kid? Wanted to go to ole miss and final got an offer?

I'm not quite sure on him waiting for an Ole Miss offer, haven't heard that yet, could be the case but idk. I do know that Khalid came in for one of our camps this summer and really demonstrated his athletic ability and Wilcox and the staff fell in love with him. He was projected to be an OLB for us. However, there seems to be better LB's still on the board for us with, I'm guessing, comparable athletic ability but bigger so the coaches are trying to push for them instead. I'd hate to see Henderson go b/c I really thought he would make a very good/athletic OLB, but 185 is quite small in this league and as we've seen before we have no room for projects/tweeners.

Oh get off of your soapbox. How do you know that the staff lied to him? Skeeter said a couple of weeks ago that the early commits were told when they committed that there was the possibility that they could be asked to look elsewhere at some point. I am assuming that Henderson was one of those.

Making room for L. Collins?

Leslie Miles will learn that Dooley is a serious recruiter in LA. What a haul that would be from there: O. Pete, Bourque, and Landon Collins!!!

I said nothing about this kid getting hurt *******. I don't want Henderson to get hurt in any way. Are you retarded, or just too stupid to comprehend English. Also you don't have any more idea what these guys are told than I do. I know skeeter said awhile back that some of the early commits were prepared that the team might go a different direction. You can call him a liar if you want, I see no reason to.:hi:Have a nice day.

Joking about a kid that 24hours ago was a VFL getting pushed off the train and also stating you hoped he was a bad player is just a little to darn impersonal for me. If Skeeter thinks these kids are told when the commit that their spot may be taken from them if a better option comes along he isn't nearly as smart as most of us consider. That's is absolutely false and you are crazy if you believe it.

You can count on hearing this soap box every time we part ways with a commit or posters trash a commit(Autry) that changes his mind on coming to us. Its a 2 way street.

Quit running your mouth about something that you have no idea about. Skeeter did not say he thinks that the early commits were told of the possibility they might have to look around, he said he knew that was the case. But I guess you must be closer to the athletic department, considering all the inside information you bring.

I respect what skeeter brings here. He isn't correct all the time and he isn't correct in this instance. He isn't in the living rooms or meeting rooms with the recruits and he hasn't claimed that. Recruits don't commit to schools that tell them they are trying to find better players so they can just drop them. Pretty common sense if you ask me.

Oh yes, but I'm sure that you were in the living room with Henderson. Bottom line is that you are just making assumptions that fit what you have been moaning about for weeks. At the time Henderson committed to us his only other offers were MTSU, Troy, Air Force and Connecticut. We were by far his biggest offer at the time, so it is quite plausible that he would commit and hope that the numbers work out.

If you believe that then I don't have a problem with it even though I feel extremely confident your wrong. My problem is posters coming on here trashing commits that aren't even public because they changed their minds. I have even more of a problem with the other poster in this thread that joked about Henderson getting thrown off the train. Then he felt the need to proclaim that he hoped this KID isn't any good. Well this KID isn't a pawn in a board game. He lives and breaths and even has feelings like all humans and for that idiot to spout of about a kid that had committed to this University is plain disgusting. My agenda is simply: I want posters to stop trashing kids and what happens in recruiting. This recruiting game is a two way street and it isn't always fair on either side.

So what did I miss?

Reports are that the staff has asked Henderson to find another school. Hopefully this means we have some bigtime guys we feel good about. That is the assumption anyway.

Safe to assume it has to be Richie, Perkins, or Brown?

I wish the freakin mods would quit deleting my posts responding to your stupidity. If you are going to attack me and wrongly accuse me and misrepresent my post,I think anything I say back to you is fair game. If anybody wants to know what the crap this ******* is talking about, and see for yourself what I said. Go back to the original post by knoxvillesfinest asking why there was a "falling out". I responded in a admittedly cheeky way, but it was just a play on words, in essence a freakin joke. I then responded to another poster who said he wouldn't "lose any sleep" over losing KH. All I was saying is in essence, if we are cutting him loose, I hope it is because it was a bad camp eval, and they are not making a mistake by cutting him loose. If he goes somewhere else, I hope he doesn't turn out to be a great player I:E: I hope they are not wrong now. If Bruin is going to hack at me in the abusive and personal way he has, then I deserve the right to respond in kind.

I read he got kicked off the train and you hoped he was a bad player. Did you post that? If that was all just a joke then it was a darn poorly timed joke and your comic career should come to an end!

It does happen it's the name of the game. A better prospect comes along or priorities for a class may change.

I agree I have no problem with it happening. I just don't blame kids for changing their minds when it doesn't benefit us.

Dude, I think he meant I hope they are letting him go because he is not the player they thought he was. Ie: a bad player. I don't think he is wishing the kid to have a bad career.

Wow it took a real genius to decipher that huh? :)Dudes just got a twist in his nads towards me for some reason .

Somebody needs to recruit Henderson as a safety or at least as a s/lb hybrid. He is just too small to play lb in this league and there is certainly no guarantee that he will ever gain enough size while keeping his agility and speed.
